Fashion technology startup in Hong Kong secures funding, targets expansion in mainland China and South Korea
Code-Create, a startup based in the local area, aspires to gather a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its immediate expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is partnering with a domestic venture capital fund to secure funding for its growth strategy. Initially, they aim to penetrate major markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business is targeting to gather a minimum of $2 million by the close of 2025, with assistance from its strategic investment ally, Eschange Capital. The collected capital will be allocated towards marketing efforts, team expansion, and software improvement to realize its objectives.
"China's market holds enormous possibilities," stated Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create is already established on several social platforms in the mainland and has a broad client base. "Our aim is to extend our reach to the international market."
The AiDA software, an AI-driven Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs various AI techniques to meet the requirements of designers throughout the ideation and design stages. It speeds up the product evolution process from the initial creative idea to the final product release.
