Hong Kong’s Fashion Tech Startup, Code-Create, Seeks $2M Funding for Expansion into China and South Korea
Hong Kong-based fashion technology startup secures funding, looks to expand in China and South Korea
Hong Kong-based startup Code-Create plans to gather a minimum of US$2 million by the end of 2025 to support its immediate expansion efforts.
Code-Create, a software firm based in Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is collaborating with a domestic venture capital fund to generate funds for its growth strategy. Initially, it's focusing on significant markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The startup is targeting to amass a minimum of US$2 million by the conclusion of 2025, with assistance from its investment ally, Eschange Capital. The capital generated will be allocated towards marketing, team expansion, and software improvements to realize its objectives.
"China's market holds immense possibilities," stated Kim Wong, the CEO and co-founder, during a press conference on Monday. He mentioned that Code-Create is already active on multiple social media platforms in mainland China and has a client base there. "Our aim is to expand globally."
The AiDA software, also known as the AI-powered Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs a variety of AI solutions to meet the demands of designers throughout the idea formation and design stages. It speeds up the product development journey from the initial creative idea to the final product launch.
