Hong Kong's fashion technology startup secures funding, targeting expansion in mainland China and South Korea
The homegrown startup, Code-Create, is on track to gather a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to support its imminent expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is joining forces with a local venture capital firm to gather funds for its growth strategy. They initially aim to penetrate major markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business intends to gather a minimum of $2 million by the conclusion of 2025, assisted by Eschange Capital, their prime investment ally. The raised capital will be channeled into bolstering marketing efforts, expanding the team, and upgrading software to help reach their objectives.
"China's market holds immense possibilities," stated Kim Wong, the co-founder and CEO, at a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create is already established on several mainland social platforms and has a client base there. "Our aim is to tap into the international market," he added.
Their AiDA software, also known as the AI-driven Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs various AI tools to support designers throughout the idea formation and design stages. It hastens the product development cycle from the imaginative concept to product introduction.
