Fashion tech start-up from Hong Kong secures funding, targets expansion in mainland and South Korea
The local start-up Code-Create is looking to collect a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to support its immediate expansion objectives.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is collaborating with a regional venture capital firm to gather funds for its growth strategy. Initially, they aim to penetrate the leading markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business plans to gather a minimum of $2 million by the end of 2025 through the assistance of Eschange Capital, their key investing ally. The money raised will be allocated towards promotional activities, team expansion, and software improvements to help realize their objectives.
"China holds immense possibilities as a market," stated Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create has already established its footprint across several social platforms on the mainland and within its clientele. "Our aim is to tap into the international market."
The AiDA software, which stands for Artificial Intelligence-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs a variety of AI technologies to support designers during the idea generation and design stages. It speeds up the product development process, from the birth of a creative idea to the product's introduction to the market.
