Hong Kong's fashion technology startup secures funding, targets expansion in mainland China and South Korea
The homegrown startup, Code-Create, intends to amass a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its forthcoming expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software company for fashion design based in Hong Kong, is partnering with a domestic venture capital fund to gather funds for its growth strategy. Initially, they are setting their sights on prime markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business venture is targeting to gather no less than $2 million by the conclusion of 2025, utilizing the assistance of Eschange Capital, their key investment collaborator. The capital will be allocated towards promotional activities, team expansion, and software upgrades to realize their objectives.
"China's market holds immense possibilities," said Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. Wong also stated that Code-Create is already established on several social platforms in the mainland and has a client base there. "Our goal is to tap into the international market."
The AiDA software, also known as the AI-powered Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs numerous AI technologies to assist designers throughout the ideation and design stages. This speeds up the product development cycle from the creative idea to product debut.
