Funds raised by Hong Kong's fashion tech start-up target expansion in mainland China and South Korea
Hong Kong-based start-up, Code-Create, is looking to secure a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its immediate expansion ambitions.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is collaborating with a domestic venture capital fund to gather resources for its growth strategy. Initially, they aim to penetrate prominent markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business has a goal to amass a minimum of $2 million by the close of 2025, with the assistance of Eschange Capital, its integral investment ally. The raised capital will be allocated towards promoting the brand, team expansion as well as software improvements to reach its objectives.
"China holds immense possibilities as a market," stated Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create is already established on several social platforms on the mainland and has a substantial client base. "Our goal is to expand to international markets."
The AiDA software, also known as the AI-driven Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, uses various AI tools to assist designers throughout the brainstorming and design stages. It speeds up the product creation process from the initial idea to product roll-out.
