Hong Kong Fashion Tech Start-Up Code-Create Targets Mainland China, South Korea for Expansion; Eyes $2M Fundraising by 2025
The fashion technology start-up from Hong Kong secures funding, targets expansion in mainland China and South Korea
The homegrown start-up Code-Create plans to secure a minimum of US$2 million in funding by the end of 2025 to finance its immediate expansion strategies.
Hong Kong-based fashion design software company, Code-Create, is partnering with a domestic venture capital fund to generate funds for its growth strategy. Initially, it plans to focus on major markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The emerging company has set a goal to accumulate a minimum of US$2 million by the conclusion of 2025, with assistance from Eschange Capital, their key financial ally. The raised capital will be funneled towards marketing initiatives, team expansion, and software upgrades to accomplish their objectives.
"China holds significant market possibilities," stated Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create is already visibly present on numerous mainland social platforms and has a client base there. "Our aim is to extend our reach to the international market."
The AiDA software, which stands for Artificial Intelligence-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs a variety of AI tools to assist designers during the idea formation and design stages. It speeds up the product development cycle, from the inception of a creative idea to the product's debut.
