Fashion tech start-up from Hong Kong secures funding, targeting expansion in mainland and South Korea
The homegrown start-up Code-Create is looking to generate a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its immediate expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software firm from Hong Kong specializing in fashion design, is collaborating with a domestic venture capital fund to gather resources for its growth strategy, initially focusing on crucial markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The start-up is targeting to accumulate a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025, aided by Eschange Capital, their strategic financial ally. The capital will be directed towards bolstering marketing efforts, team expansion, and software upgrades to realize its objectives.
"China holds immense possibilities as a market," stated co-founder and CEO Kim Wong during a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create is already established on several social platforms in mainland China and has a wide client base. He expressed the company's aspiration to expand their reach to the international market.
The AiDA software, an AI-powered Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs various AI tools to accommodate the requirements of designers throughout the brainstorming and design phases. It hastens the product development journey from the inception of an idea to the official product release.
