Fashion tech start-up from Hong Kong secures funding, targets expansion in mainland China and South Korea
Homegrown start-up Code-Create is looking to gather at least US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its imminent expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software provider for fashion design based in Hong Kong, is collaborating with a domestic venture capital fund to generate funds for its growth strategy. Initially, it aims to penetrate significant markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business venture intends to secure a minimum of $2 million by the close of 2025, with assistance from Eschange Capital, their strategic financial ally. The raised capital will be allocated towards marketing efforts, team expansion and software improvements to reach its objectives.
"China holds immense possibilities as a market," stated Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. Wong elaborated that Code-Create already has a foothold on several major social platforms in the mainland and within its client base. "Our goal is to tap into the international market."
The AiDA software, also known as the AI-driven Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, leverages a variety of AI technologies to meet the requirements of designers throughout the ideation and design stages. It expedites the product development timeline, from the birth of a creative idea to the actual product launch.
