Hong Kong's fashion technology start-up gathers investment, targets expansion in mainland and South Korea
The domestic start-up Code-Create is working towards a goal of securing at least US$2 million by the close of 2025 to support its imminent expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is collaborating with a domestic venture capital fund to gather financial resources for its growth strategy. Initially, it will focus on important markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business intends to collect a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025, assisted by its financial ally, Eschange Capital. This capital will be allocated towards marketing efforts, team expansion, and improvements in software, all to help it reach its objectives.
"China's market holds enormous possibilities," stated Kim Wong, the co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He added that Code-Create has already established itself on multiple social platforms in the mainland and has a diverse client base. "Our aim is to tap into the international market."
The AiDA software, also known as the AI-driven Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, deploys various AI tools to support designers throughout the ideation and creation phases. It speeds up the product development cycle from the initial creative idea to the product's market launch.
