Hong Kong Fashion Tech Start-Up Code-Create Seeks $2M Funding for Expansion into Mainland China and South Korea Markets
Hong Kong's fashion technology start-up secures funding, targets expansion in mainland China and South Korea. The homegrown start-up Code-Create is looking to amass a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its impending expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is collaborating with a domestic venture capital fund to accumulate financial resources for its growth strategy. Initially, the company aims to penetrate significant markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business is targeting a minimum of US$2 million in funding by the close of 2025, facilitated by their strategic investment ally, Eschange Capital. The raised capital will be allocated towards marketing efforts, team expansion, and software improvement to realize their objectives.
"China holds enormous possibilities as a market," stated Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He further highlighted that Code-Create already has established its footprint across several social platforms on the mainland and within its customer base. "Our goal is to tap into the international market."
Their AiDA software, which stands for Artificial Intelligence-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs a variety of AI technologies to accommodate the requirements of designers throughout the ideation and design phase. It speeds up the product development cycle from the creative concept to the product's debut.
