Hong Kong's fashion technology startup garners investment, targets expansion in mainland China and South Korea
Code-Create, a local startup, has set a goal to accumulate a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its impending expansion plans.
Code-Create, a software company based in Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is collaborating with a local venture capital fund to gather funds for its growth strategy. Initially, they are focusing on crucial markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business intends to generate a minimum of $2 million before the close of 2025, assisted by its investment ally, Eschange Capital. The raised capital will be allocated to bolster marketing efforts, team expansion, and software improvements to meet its objectives.
"China's market holds great promise," said Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. She mentioned that Code-Create is already visible on multiple domestic social networks and has a client base there. "Our goal is to expand to the international market."
Their AiDA program, which stands for an AI-powered Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs various AI methods to assist designers throughout the ideation and design stages. It speeds up the product creation cycle, right from the initial creative idea to its market introduction.
