Henderson’s Iconic Zaha Hadid-Designed Building to Host High-Profile Events: Boosting Hong Kong’s Appeal to Global Financial Sector and Fintech Start-ups
Special Report | Hong Kong's grand events to take place at the Henderson's rooftop, designed by Zaha Hadid
The 36-floor Henderson office building located in Central is set to accommodate some of the largest gatherings of the year in its expansive 6,800 square foot rooftop ballroom.
Hong Kong's initiatives to lure family offices, financial technology start-ups, and world finance giants are greatly benefiting the city's property owners. This is enhancing their earnings from event and conference hosting, as well as increasing hotel bookings and tourism revenue.
Premier sportsmen from the University of Hong Kong are also slated to host a social gathering at the same location. Additionally, the grand feast for the Global Leaders Summit in November, which is being planned by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, has been reserved in advance at the same venue, as per an insider.
Securing victories in high-profile events will enhance the prestige of the property designed by Zaha Hadid, which has already started generating rental revenue, as per the company's latest financial disclosure to its investors. Later this year, Audemars Piguet, a Swiss luxury watchmaker, plans to lease an entire floor of 12,000 square feet, as previously announced.
