Fabio di Giannantonio's race in the German MotoGP was cut short as he retired to the pits from the twelfth position during the 9th lap.

Following his significant accident during practice, there were rumors that his physical state might have been responsible for his season's first Grand Prix did not finish (DNF).

However, Diggia subsequently clarified, saying, "Today, my shoulder felt improved, thanks to the excellent work done with the physiotherapist."

Di Giannantonio, who ranks eighth in the global championship and stands as the second leading GP23 competitor behind Marc Marquez, is expected to remain with VR46 for the upcoming season and receive an upgrade to factory-spec equipment.
