David Coulthard is of the opinion that a certain Formula 1 champion could have secured additional victories had they possessed the same level of dedication and commitment to their craft as Michael Schumacher.
Ex-Formula 1 racer David Coulthard is of the opinion that 2007 champion Kimi Raikkonen could have achieved additional victories had he possessed the work dedication similar to that of Michael Schumacher.
In 2007, during his inaugural season with Ferrari, Raikkonen secured his sole Formula 1 championship, stepping in after Schumacher's departure.
The Finn continues to be the latest Ferrari driver to clinch a world championship title, as others including Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso, and Sebastian Vettel have not managed to secure a victory in the past 15 years.
Raikkonen just barely failed to secure the 2003 championship driving for McLaren, and in 2005, frequent mechanical failures paved the way for Alonso to clinch his inaugural championship with Renault.
On The Red Flags podcast, Coulthard expressed the belief that his ex-teammate deserved greater achievements in Formula 1.
"Coulthard described Raikkonen as the exception in the group, attributing his success to his exceptional, innate ability."

Below is the complete list of the 2025 Formula 1 calendar, detailing all the races and their respective dates.
The schedule for the 2025 Formula 1 season has been announced, and the Australian Grand Prix will kick off the upcoming season.
Melbourne is set to kick off the season for the first time since 2019, with the event scheduled from March 14 to 16. This race will be paired with the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, which will occur from March 21 to 23.
Formula 1 is set to proceed with a back-to-back racing event in the Middle East. The races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have been rescheduled to take place in April to align with the observance of Ramadan.
Round 12 of the British Grand Prix is scheduled to occur at Silverstone from July 4th to 6th.
The Hungarian Grand Prix will take place before a two-week summer break in August, and the Dutch Grand Prix will follow after the break.
The 2025 schedule includes three sets of back-to-back race weekends, with one trio comprising Japan, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia at the beginning of the season, and another trio featuring Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi as the season concludes.

James Allison, who serves as the technical director for the Mercedes Formula 1 team, shared his most cherished memory involving Lewis Hamilton during his tenure with the team.
At the conclusion of last season, Hamilton departed from Mercedes after a dozen triumphant years, opting for a sensational transfer to Ferrari, one of their main competitors in Formula 1.
He secured six out of his seven world championships with Mercedes and achieved 84 of his 105 grand prix wins while racing for the German team.
Surprisingly, the moment Allison cherishes most about Hamilton isn't one of his victories.
In the 2017 Hungarian Grand Prix, an example of sportsmanship stood out to Allison as his most memorable experience collaborating with Hamilton.
During a championship battle with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, Hamilton allowed his Mercedes teammate at the time, Valtteri Bottas, to overtake him in the final moments of the race.
Mercedes initially used team orders to switch the positions of their cars, enabling Hamilton to challenge the two leading Ferraris. However, when Hamilton was unable to pass them, he eased off at the last corner, allowing Bottas to regain his position.
In a strategic move, Hamilton sacrificed a spot on the podium and the opportunity to earn an additional three points while trailing Vettel in the championship standings. Ultimately, Hamilton overtook Vettel to clinch the drivers' title.
Allison thinks that instance revealed the genuine nature of Hamilton.
"It is a difficult decision due to the wide array of experiences throughout these seasons," Allison remarked.
"Even though I joined the team later, I've experienced many ups and downs alongside them. We've celebrated four drivers' championships and five constructors' championships together, providing plenty of memorable moments!"
"I often think back to the 2017 Hungarian Grand Prix, where Lewis was given permission to overtake Valtteri in order to challenge the Ferraris ahead."
"He wasn't able to advance as much as we wanted, but he kept his promise that if he was allowed to compete against the Ferraris and couldn't maintain his position, he would return the spot to Valtteri."

2025 MotoGP Schedule: Complete Dates and Venues for All 22 Races
Here is the preliminary schedule outlining the dates and locations for each event in the 2025 MotoGP World Championship series.
The first event of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship will take place in Buriram, Thailand, from February 28 to March 2.
MotoGP is set to make a move to South America, with Argentina being the first of three events either making a comeback or debuting in 2025, joining Brno and Balaton Park.
India's MotoGP event has been postponed to 2026, although it has been granted reserve status for the 2025 season. Meanwhile, it appears that MotoGP has abandoned efforts to hold a race in Kazakhstan following numerous unsuccessful attempts to organize an event at the Sokol International Racetrack.
A summer hiatus scheduled for later in the season will take place, beginning in mid-July at Brno and concluding in mid-August at the Red Bull Ring.
The updated late-season 'flyaway' itinerary features a sequence where races in Indonesia and Japan are followed by events in Australia and Malaysia, with a one-week interval between the two sets of races.
In mid-November, Portimao is set to hold the second-to-last event, just ahead of the customary final round in Valencia.
Many are relieved to hear that there are no plans for triple headers.
Should all 22 rounds proceed as planned, this will mark the most extensive season in MotoGP's history, surpassing the 20-round schedule that has been in place for the last three years.
Brno and Portimao need contract agreements, and Balaton Park requires homologation approval.

There is a demand for Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri to receive the same level of recognition and treatment in Formula 1 for the 2025 season. Advocates believe that the McLaren teammates should start the 2025 F1 season on an equal footing.
According to Karun Chandhok, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have proven themselves deserving of being considered as equal number one drivers for McLaren in the F1 2025 season.
During the latter half of the 2024 Formula 1 season, McLaren decided to prioritize Lando Norris in his quest to challenge Max Verstappen of Red Bull for the title. However, Norris was unable to achieve his goal of becoming the world champion, as Verstappen secured his fourth consecutive world championship victory.
The team from Woking generally refrained from giving team orders, with the Sao Paulo sprint race being an uncommon instance where Piastri was instructed to let Norris pass. However, McLaren openly declared their support for the British driver as he tried to outperform Verstappen.
Former F1 driver and current Sky Sports analyst, Chandhok, holds the opinion that Piastri, who secured two grand prix wins in 2024, should begin the upcoming season on the same level as Norris.
Chandhok mentioned to Betway that he would grant both individuals the status of joint number one until likely the summer break, as he believes they have both deserved the recognition of being equally top-ranked.
"Oscar is improving steadily. This year, Lando has been the leading driver without question, demonstrating greater speed. However, Oscar has shown remarkable growth since he started his debut season, and he is expected to continue developing his skills."
"I would rank them both as joint number ones. Once we reach the summer break, I would evaluate the circumstances. If they are competing for the championship, I would then be more decisive about designating one as number one and the other as number two after the summer break."
Throughout last season, the consistent performances of Norris and Piastri enabled McLaren to surpass Ferrari and Red Bull, securing their first constructors' championship since 1998. This victory also marked their first championship win of any type since 2008.

Raul Fernandez shares thoughts on mid-year transition to Aprilia specifications
Raul Fernandez expresses his preference to avoid having to switch motorcycles in the middle of a MotoGP season again, after transitioning from the 2023 Aprilia model to the 2024-specification bike.
The Trackhouse competitor initiated the season on the previous year's Aprilia model and consistently vied for top 10 positions, securing his highest grand prix finish of the year in Barcelona with a sixth place.
Starting with the British Grand Prix, Fernandez transitioned to using the 2024 RS-GP model but faced challenges in adapting to it, achieving a top result of 10th place twice during the latter part of the season.
As the sole racer for Aprilia in 2025, Fernandez was burdened with a significant amount of development duties, leaving him with little to no time to concentrate on his own progress.
Finishing the season ranked 16th in points, Fernandez mentions he "didn't progress" throughout the year and wishes to avoid having to switch motorcycles mid-season in the future.
"In the final moments, he expressed, it was extremely challenging."
"Our performance didn't see any enhancement. It's likely because we experimented with numerous aspects and had limited time for ourselves.
"Therefore, our attention was dedicated to enhancing the project and attempting to grasp numerous aspects."
"I experimented extensively with last year's bike, altering numerous aspects. We made various attempts and needed to gain a deeper understanding of many elements."

Raul Fernandez expressed his preference to avoid switching motorcycles in the middle of a MotoGP season again, after transitioning from the 2023 Aprilia model to the 2024 specification.
The rider from Trackhouse began the season on the previous year's Aprilia, regularly contending within the top 10 and securing his highest grand prix finish of the year with a sixth place in Barcelona.
Starting from the British Grand Prix, Fernandez transitioned to riding the 2024 RS-GP model, but found it challenging to adapt to, achieving a top result of 10th place twice in the latter part of the season.
Being Aprilia's sole rider for the 2025 season, Fernandez was burdened with a significant amount of development tasks, leaving him with little time to concentrate on his own needs.
Finishing the season in 16th place in the standings, Fernandez expressed that he saw no progress throughout the year and wishes to avoid having to switch motorcycles mid-season in the future.
"In the final moments, it was extremely challenging," he stated.
"We didn't make progress. Perhaps we experimented with numerous aspects and lacked sufficient time for ourselves.
"Thus, our attention was dedicated to enhancing the project and striving to comprehend numerous aspects."
"I experimented extensively with last year's bike. Numerous adjustments were made, and we engaged in a lot of trial and error to gain a deeper understanding of various aspects."

Fabio Di Giannantonio has expressed his ambition to challenge Ducati's leading MotoGP competitors, Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia, in 2025, upon transitioning to the GP25.
The rider from VR46 has secured the sole additional factory Ducati set to compete in 2025, apart from the main factory team, but has not had the chance to test the motorcycle due to ending the previous season prematurely for shoulder surgery.
Throughout the majority of the season, Di Giannantonio consistently ranked as the top runner-up GP23 competitor, trailing only behind Marquez, and managed to finish in front of the well-regarded VR46 teammate Marco Bezzecchi, even though he was absent for the last two races.
Di Giannantonio has mentioned that he hasn't set particular goals for 2025, highlighting that the minimal pressure on VR46 allows him to truly enjoy the experience.

Bezzecchi is set to join an official team for the first time, moving to Aprilia after spending three seasons at VR46 Ducati, where he secured three grand prix victories.
Bezzecchi is set to team up with Martin, who edged out Francesco Bagnaia by a margin of 10 points in a fiercely contested season that culminated in a thrilling finale in Barcelona.
