Dacia’s 2025 Rollout: A Glimpse into the Future with Bigster Debut and Sandero, Jogger Refreshes
Dacia: A Rundown of the 2025 Lineup
The year 2025 will spotlight the Bigster, with planned updates for the Sandero and Jogger as well
Dacia's 2025 lineup isn't limited to just the Bigster. While this C-segment SUV is undeniably the centerpiece in the Romanian brand's immediate strategy, it's not the sole focus.
Dacia's calendar also has room for significant updates to the Sandero and Jogger, two other notable models from the brand. In the case of these last two mentioned, the changes are not about a new design or a full overhaul, but rather minor enhancements that will include the addition of various assistance systems to the vehicles' features.

At 4.57 meters long, the Bigster breaks into the core of the C-segment and introduces a variety of features previously unseen in this Romanian brand's offerings. These include dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and an electric tailgate.
Beneath the hood, there's a host of fresh features. Notably, a new 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo engine debuts, delivering 140 horsepower. This motor comes in two varieties: a Bi-Fuel option that runs on petrol and LPG, and a Mild-Hybrid version.

Additionally, there are the full hybrids which pair a 1.8-liter engine with an electric motor, delivering horsepower between 140 and 155. Also available is the 1.2 TCe that offers 130 horsepower and comes with four-wheel drive.
Advance orders for the Bigster are set to kick off in January 2025, with starting prices projected by the company to be around 25,000 euros, potentially surpassing 30,000 euros for the hybrid model with 155 horsepower.
The 2025 Dacia Sandero
The latest 2025 version of the Sandero model has hit the dealerships. The Essential SCe 65 remains the most affordable new car in the German market without any price change. This new iteration comes with a selection of fresh paint options and updates to the features and alloy wheels compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the new Journey trim level is now available.

Additionally, there are now more built-in assistance systems as mandated by EU regulations. The front radar has been swapped out for a windshield camera that consolidates all electronic driving aids. The engines remain the same with the 90 horsepower TCe gasoline engine and the 100 horsepower Bi-Fuel ECO-G. These same upgrades are also present in the Stepway, which is the crossover-styled variant.
For the 2025 model year, the Dacia Jogger, like the Sandero, will be updated with fresh color options, alloy wheels, and minor visual tweaks. However, the most significant update is to the vehicle's features: the standard equipment package has been refreshed with the addition of new safety technologies.
The Dacia, which can accommodate up to seven passengers, is now equipped with lane-keeping assistance, drowsiness detection, LED headlights, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and cruise control.

Both five and seven-seater models remain on offer, and the spacious trunk remains a feature, offering up to 607 liters of space in its standard configuration.
