Bearman Tipped to Outshine Rookies in 2025 F1 Season: Herbert’s Insightful Rookie Analysis Unveiled
Kimi Antonelli not considered while another new F1 driver is predicted to excel in 2025
Johnny Herbert reviews the performances of five newcomers in the F1 lineup for 2025.
Johnny Herbert has shown support for Oliver Bearman, believing he will stand out among the newcomers entering Formula 1 in 2025.
Bearman is among five newcomers to the grid in 2025.
The Ferrari-affiliated rookie is set to embark on his first full-season journey in Formula 1, teaming up with Esteban Ocon at Haas.
Isack Hadjar, who finished second in Formula 2, joins Yuki Tsunoda at Racing Bulls, as Jack Doohan kicks off the season with Alpine.
F2 titleholder Gabriel Bortoleto was selected over Valtteri Bottas to fill the second seat at Sauber, whereas Mercedes opted for Kimi Antonelli to take over from Lewis Hamilton.
In a conversation with Casinoutanspelpaus.io, Herbert pointed out that Bearman is expected to stand out in 2025.
"Herbert expressed admiration for Gabriel Bortoleto, highlighting his performance in F2. He praised Bortoleto's resilience and resolve, which propelled him to his championship victory."
"Clearly, entering the race to compete with Nico Hulkenberg presents a great chance for him, just as Oliver Bearman experienced. Bearman challenged Hulkenberg and at times, managed to outpace him."
A driver who will certainly capture attention for his upcoming performances is Kimi Antonelli. His initial outing in Monza didn't live up to expectations. Now, he faces the challenge of mending his reputation and winning back supporter confidence after a less-than-ideal debut. Moreover, he finds himself competing against George Russell, a highly confident and intelligent competitor, making the task at hand even more formidable.
In my opinion, Bearman is certainly someone to keep an eye on. I believe he's likely to maximize the potential among the younger group. Additionally, Isack Hadjar caught my attention with his performance in F2, which I found quite impressive as well.
Lawson earns opportunity with Red Bull
Having participated in only 11 races prior, Lawson is arguably a newcomer as he steps up to join Red Bull.
In 2025, Lawson will confront the formidable challenge of competing against Max Verstappen at Red Bull.
Verstappen outperformed Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon prior to their dismissal.
Lawson has been actively getting ready for the upcoming season, making a trip to Red Bull's headquarters in Milton Keynes for a fitting session for his seat.
Red Bull fell to third place in the Formula 1 team rankings last season, as a result of Sergio Perez's slump in performance.

Williams Formula 1 test driver Latifi managed to fight his way to the front in a shortened F2 race in Baku, which included three Safety Car intervals, leading to the race being completed based on time limits once more.
Before reaching the halfway point, Latifi overtook Sean Gelael, who had been leading at the start, and successfully defended his position against Juan Manuel Correa and Nyck de Vries, securing his second victory of the season.

Williams Formula 1 test driver Nicholas Latifi managed to fight his way to the front in a shortened Formula 2 race in Baku. The event, which included three Safety Car interruptions, concluded based on time limits once more.
Latifi seized the lead before reaching the halfway point of the race by overtaking initial leader Sean Gelael. He successfully fended off competition from Juan Manuel Correa and Nyck de Vries to secure his second victory of the season.
Correa achieved his inaugural podium finish in Formula 2 by securing second place. Meanwhile, Jack Aitken, who won the Feature Race on Saturday, rounded out the podium positions after overtaking de Vries in the final stages, leaving de Vries to finish in fourth.
Mick Schumacher made an impressive climb from 19th position at the start to secure a fifth-place finish for Prema, ahead of Sergio Sette Camara and Dorian Boccolacci. Meanwhile, Sean Gelael managed to clinch the last available point by finishing eighth, narrowly beating Callum Ilott in a thrilling finish where he crossed the line just 0.005 seconds ahead.

From Mentor to Protege: Tracing Max Verstappen’s Aggressive Driving Style to Michael Schumacher’s Influence
A hypothesis connecting Max Verstappen's assertive approach on the track to Michael Schumacher has been proposed by an ex-Formula 1 Grand Prix victor.
It is suggested that Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher may have had an impact on Max Verstappen’s approach to racing.
Former F1 racer Johnny Herbert believes that Max Verstappen, known for his assertive on-track tactics, might have taken counsel from the seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, according to his views.
During the 1994 season at Benetton, Schumacher and Jos Verstappen, Max Verstappen's father, were teammates and formed a strong friendship.
"Herbert mentioned to Casinoutanspelpaus.io that remarks like the ones Michael Schumacher might have shared with Max Verstappen are likely to be memorable."
"However, I'm aware that Joss Verstappen would also ensure he remembers them concurrently."
"He seems to have greatly leveraged Michael's approach to teamwork, which has significantly contributed to the current prowess of our group. His strength, evident from his early days in Formula One, has been a constant from a remarkably young age."
"I vividly recall his inaugural season in Formula One, where he quickly gained a notorious reputation for forcing competitors off the track and displaying an aggressive racing style. His stance was clear: for him, racing was inherently about being tough and competitive."
"You don't force people against the wall; instead, you guide them onto the lawn."
Discussing his bond with Schumacher, Verstappen Sr. shared with F1 Insider, "It was always positive. He put in a lot of effort, even post-retirement. We frequently enjoyed karting sessions with our kids Mick and Max.
Michael treated Max and Mick without distinction. Whenever he had a message, he communicated it to both of them. It's likely that Max gained from these interactions as well. Shared traits between Max and Michael include their relentless competitiveness during races, coupled with their gentle, empathetic, and considerate nature off the track.
Verstappen's assertive racing approach expected to persist
Plans are in motion to modify Formula 1's racing rules by 2025 to address the aggressive overtaking maneuvers, often referred to as "dive-bomb" tactics, that Verstappen employed in his championship fight against McLaren's Lando Norris last season.
Nonetheless, Herbert believes that Verstappen will continue to adopt a bold strategy while he aims to polish his racing abilities.
"Top drivers are expected to excel further under the updated regulations. The extreme cornering guidelines and sanctions witnessed in Mexico serve as a prime example," he further stated.
"I believe this season will have a unique feel to it. From Max Verstappen's perspective, his natural aggressiveness will continue to play a role, but he's constantly enhancing his skills on the track and in qualifying. He undoubtedly has more tricks up his sleeve should the situation call for it."
"Is there a necessity for Verstappen to have a teammate who challenges him further? This presents an opportunity for Liam Lawson to excel, especially given the challenging position of competing against someone who is currently among the top in the world, and possibly one of the all-time greats."
"Having a teammate who challenges Verstappen could only be beneficial, as it is likely to elevate his performance to a new height. This advancement, albeit unfortunate for his competitors, signifies a pivotal shift in dynamics should he ascend to this newfound level."

Red Bull F1 Juniors Lawson and Vips Take on 2021 F2 Season with Hitech: A New Chapter in Their Racing Journey
Hitech Grand Prix has secured the talents of Red Bull Formula 1 juniors, Liam Lawson and Juri Vips, to compete in the approaching 2021 Formula 2 season.
The statement confirms that Vips will make an anticipated transition to a full-time position in Formula 2 for the 2021 season. This follows his participation in six races last year, where he stepped in for Sean Gelael at DAMS.
Juri Vips was originally scheduled to compete full-time in the Super Formula series in 2020, but his plans were derailed by Japan's travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the 20-year-old took on a role as a reserve driver for Red Bull in Formula 1 and also temporarily replaced the injured Sean Gelael in Formula 2.
Vips used to compete with Hitech in Formula 3, where he achieved a fourth-place finish in the 2019 season rankings.
Vips expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with Hitech once more.
"In 2019, we had a successful run in F3, but there's more we want to accomplish together. Their debut season in F2 was impressive, and I believe we're in a strong position to compete for the championship this year!"
Vips achieved his highest finish by securing third place in the Mugello sprint race. He also participated in the post-season F2 testing for Hitech, where he was joined by Liam Lawson, a leading competitor in Formula 3. Lawson will be teaming up with the Estonian driver at the British team for the 2021 season.
Lawson, the 2019 champion of the Toyota Racing Series, advances to Formula 2 with Hitech following his impressive performance in the 2020 F3 season, where he secured three victories and finished in fifth place overall.
The 18-year-old New Zealander expressed enthusiasm about competing in F2 with Hitech this year. After two seasons in Formula 3, he feels ready to join this championship and perform well for the team.
During my time testing the F2 car in Bahrain with Hitech, I gained significant insights and developed a strong connection with the vehicle. However, I acknowledge that there is still much to absorb, and I am eagerly anticipating the upcoming challenges.
Red Bull has revealed that Jehan Daruvala will remain with Carlin for the 2021 F2 season. The Indian driver concluded his debut season in 12th place and secured his first win during the season's final race in Bahrain.
Hitech has announced that it will feature two Red Bull junior drivers in its lineup for the 2021 F3 season, with newcomers Jak Crawford and Ayumu Iwasa joining the team.
Crawford secured five victories and four pole positions, ultimately placing second in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship last year.
The American expressed great joy about joining Hitech GP for the 2021 FIA F3 season. He mentioned his enthusiasm for advancing from F4 to race against a strong group of competitors.
"Given the team's accomplishments in past seasons, I aim to deliver similar outcomes and compete at the forefront."
In the meantime, Iwasa, supported by Honda, moves up to Formula 3 following his success in the French Formula 4 championship, where he achieved nine wins, reached the podium 15 times, and secured five pole positions.
The 19-year-old expressed excitement about the upcoming challenge and mentioned plans to compete in the Asian F3 series.
"I'm thrilled about the opportunity to join Hitech for both FIA F3 and Asian F3, and I'm eager to learn from the team's past successes. I am committed to consistently delivering strong performances."
Jonny Edgar, the reigning ADAC Formula 4 champion and a Red Bull protégé, is set to advance to Formula 3, where he will be driving for Carlin.

Gabriel Bortoleto Faces Toughest Rookie Season in 2025 With Sauber’s Struggle for Pace
A 2025 Formula 1 driver is selected as having the most challenging role to play
“His biggest challenge lies in the vehicle he’s tasked with maneuvering”
In 2025, a particular Formula 1 driver is recognized for facing the most challenging assignment.
Gabriel Bortoleto is set to embark on his debut season in Formula 1, joining the Sauber team.
In the previous year, Bortleto clinched the F2 championship title, surpassing new F1 entrants Isack Hadjar, Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Oliver Bearman, and Franco Colapinto.
However, his ascent to the premier series will occur in the least competitive vehicle – Sauber managed to secure their initial point of 2024 during the 23rd grand prix.
Get the F1 Crash Podcast available for download here.
"Lewis Larkam, speaking on the Crash F1 podcast, highlighted that, just like with Kimi Antonelli, it's crucial to allow a newcomer sufficient time to acclimate."
"[The recent addition to the team, Nico Hulkenberg], is not to be underestimated; he's a reliable scorer and consistently performs well. Last season with Haas, he showed remarkable skill, especially in single-lap speed, and was adept at turning those performances into points.
"The more challenging examination will come from the vehicle he's piloting. In the previous season, Sauber was at the bottom of the pack with the slowest car."
Sauber's attention is centered on the year 2026, with an emphasis on the upcoming regulations and Audi's integration as a takeover. "It's a project with a long-term vision," Lewis Larkam noted.
"This season, it's likely we'll see similar performances from Sauber."
"They'll find themselves near the end of the pack. Understanding that significant progress in advancing positions this year is unlikely, they reason that from a financial perspective, it's unwise to invest heavily in the current season when there's a chance for a major improvement next year."
"For Bortoleto, the expectations won't be overwhelmingly high. This year is primarily about gaining experience.
"Sauber will evaluate his performance by comparing him to Hulkenberg, using this as their sole criterion for assessment."
"Alternatively, given their performance in the previous season, they shouldn't anticipate competing for points in every match."
"He's faced with a challenging role. It's arguably difficult for him to make a mark or excel, given the limited chances available."

Matteo Nannini Embarks on Ambitious 45-Race Dual Campaign in F2 and F3 with HWA Racelab
Nannini set to participate in 45 races across both F2 and F3 seasons in 2021 with HWA
Matteo Nannini, who is the nephew of former Formula 1 victor Alessandro Nannini, is gearing up to race in both the Formula 2 and Formula 3 circuits this season under the HWA Racelab banner.
In a rare decision, the 17-year-old will compete in two parallel campaigns within F1's direct feeder series. This is possible because the updated schedules for each series allow them to hold races on separate weekends throughout the 2021 season.
In 2019, Nannini clinched the championship title in UAE Formula 4. The following year, he secured the 18th spot in the FIA F3 rankings, accumulating a total of 11 points. His top performance came in the second race held in Barcelona, where he achieved a third-place finish while racing for Jenzer Motorsport, just a day after earning his first point in the series.
This year, the Italian driver will participate in a total of 45 races throughout the 2021 season, as there are three events scheduled for both the F2 and F3 series each weekend.
"I'm excited about the upcoming packed season," Nannini stated. "With 45 races scheduled for 2021, it's going to be challenging, but I'm prepared and eager to develop as a driver, especially with the chance to compete in both FIA F2 and F3."
"This will be my debut season in F2. I understand it won't be straightforward, but I am eager to gain as much knowledge as I can."
The driver expressed optimism as they approach their second year in F3, believing that HWA will offer a strong setup to achieve success.
Italian driver Nannini is set to team up with Alessio Deledda at HWA in the Formula 2 series. Deledda, also from Italy, has previously spent two seasons racing in Formula 3 with Campos but has not yet scored any points.
"I've been anticipating this opportunity for a long time," expressed Deledda, who originally began his career in motorcycle racing before transitioning to race cars. "I'm thrilled to compete in this highly challenging championship and to put my abilities to the test."
"I'm confident that, alongside HWA, a team full of experience, we can progress together on the path ahead of us."
"I have strong faith in the HWA's F1 Talent Factory program and am thrilled about my dual role in 2021, as it will be crucial in advancing me towards Formula 1."
Team leader Thomas Strick commented, "Our team has struck a great balance by combining a young, highly skilled driver with a more seasoned yet equally driven driver."
"We have deliberately chosen to have Matteo participate in both series. This benefits the young driver by allowing him to adapt more swiftly to the high-speed demands of a Formula 1 car, as the capabilities of a Formula 2 car are quite similar to those of a Formula 1 vehicle."

Montoya Backs Hamilton for Unbeatable 2025 If Ferrari Delivers: The Race for F1 Supremacy Intensifies
Strong assertion regarding Lewis Hamilton's potential if Ferrari provides a speedy vehicle for the 2025 F1 season
Juan Pablo Montoya shares his insights on what 2025 might hold for Lewis Hamilton.
Former Formula 1 racer Juan Pablo Montoya is of the opinion that Lewis Hamilton will be unbeatable if Ferrari provides him with a “speedy vehicle” in 2025, refuting claims that he has diminished in terms of his natural speed.
The previous season proved challenging for Hamilton, who exited Mercedes following a 12-year stint.
Hamilton is now smiling again following an eventful initial week in Maranello.
Before hitting the track with the 2023 Ferrari for his initial run, Hamilton got acquainted with his new team of mechanics and engineers in Italy.
The seven-time world champion is anticipated to return to the track later this week in Barcelona, as Ferrari gears up for pre-season trials in Bahrain.
Ferrari is anticipated to be among the leaders yet again, but uncertainties remain regarding Hamilton's performance level.
Throughout the previous season, he was only able to surpass his teammate George Russell in qualifying on five occasions, frequently facing difficulties with his speed in single-lap performances.
In a conversation with Crash.net, facilitated by CasinoApps, Montoya expressed his belief that the "old Hamilton" might make a comeback with the appropriate equipment.
"He said the situation with Lewis Hamilton mirrors the experience of Fernando Alonso."
"They retain all their speed, yet they'll likely only manage to break into the top 10. Should the vehicle have the potential to secure a victory, their ranking would be significantly better.
"If Hamilton is equipped with a speedy vehicle this year, we're likely to witness the unbeatable Hamilton of past seasons, the one that even Max Verstappen couldn't surpass. However, the challenge for Ferrari lies in maintaining his drive and motivation."
Monitoring F1's 2026 Regulations
A key consideration in 2025 will involve teams weighing their focus between this year and the next.
In 2026, the regulations for power units and chassis will undergo a complete overhaul.
Christian Horner, the team principal for Red Bull Racing, has characterized the recent alterations in regulations as the most significant ever seen in the history of the sport.
Consequently, certain teams might give up their aspirations for 2025 to devote their full attention to the upcoming year.
In 2025, Ferrari and McLaren are expected to push their limits, considering their impressive performance in the previous season.
Aston Martin and Mercedes could potentially emerge as stronger contenders for the title by 2026.
Montoya commented, “Ferrari is investing heavily to be competitive this season, whereas Mercedes doesn’t need to take significant risks. McLaren has a great chance to maintain their dominance until the 2026 regulation changes come into effect, after which they might just become mediocre.”

Dan Ticktum Joins Carlin: Aiming for F2 Glory in 2021 with Williams F1 Junior
Dan Ticktum, a junior driver for Williams in Formula 1, is set to join Carlin for his second season in Formula 2, finalizing the team's roster for 2021.
The ex-Red Bull junior driver secured one win and added three more podium finishes as he concluded his debut season with DAMS in 11th place in the rankings last year.
Dan Ticktum, aged 21, has joined the British team Carlin for his second year, teaming up with fellow race victor Jehan Daruvala.
Ticktum expressed his excitement about the upcoming season and his collaboration with Carlin this year. He previously teamed up with Carlin during the post-season test in Bahrain last December.
"We completed three successful days of testing in Bahrain, and I already feel integrated into the team. Our collaboration has been excellent, and we are clear on our objectives for the pre-season tests."
"By the end of last season, Carlin demonstrated that their car was capable of winning races. I am eager to take advantage of this and launch a solid campaign for the championship right from the beginning. I'm looking forward to the start of the season."
Dan Ticktum has claimed victory twice at the Macau Grand Prix and secured second place in the European F3 championship in 2018 while racing with Motopark. He also raced for Carlin during the 2019 Macau Grand Prix.
"Trevor Carlin, the head of the team, expressed his enthusiasm about Dan becoming a part of their group. He mentioned that they have been acquainted with Dan for quite some time, having collaborated with him briefly in Macau a few years back and during the F2 tests after the season concluded in December."
"He is incredibly fast and an excellent competitor, and we are eager to witness his full capabilities this season. Our goal is to collaborate closely with him to build on all his previous experiences, aiming for a steady and strategic approach to the championship."
"We've got a thrilling new roster featuring Dan and Jehan this season, and I'm eager to watch them compete as teammates. I'm confident they'll drive our team forward, and it's our responsibility to provide a speedy car so they can vie for victories right from the start."

2025 F1 Showdown: Experts Predict Norris Triumph Over Verstappen and Hamilton’s Ferrari Frenzy
Intriguing forecast for Lando Norris in the 2025 F1 season undermines Max Verstappen
Specialists share their forecasts for the 2025 Formula 1 champion and the victor of the season's first race
Our specialists forecast that Lando Norris possesses both the speed and the equipment necessary to secure the F1 drivers' championship this year.
Last season, McLaren's Norris put up a strong fight but was ultimately outpaced by Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who secured his fourth consecutive championship.
However, McLaren concluded 2024 boasting the quickest vehicle in Formula 1, providing Norris with optimism for gaining an initial edge over Verstappen this season.
"Towards the year's conclusion, he really minimized his errors, demonstrating remarkable speed," Connor McDonagh, a supporter of Norris for the drivers' championship, commented on the Crash F1 podcast.
"Brazil's performance was somewhat erratic; he veered off track on a few occasions."
"However, his achievements, particularly those races where he's gone from pole position to victory, have been extraordinarily impressive."
"The difference in performance between him and Oscar Piastri is often overlooked."
"Individuals often mention how Piastri is nearly matched, yet in reality, Piastri managed to qualify ahead of him on four occasions!
"In my opinion, Norris is the leading contender, possessing the quickest vehicle."
"Who took the top spot in the opening race? It was Charles Leclerc, marking a heartwarming victory for Ferrari."
Lewis Hamilton supported for Formula 1 championship
Another forecast for the championship race suggests Verstappen might relinquish his grip on the premier award.
"Lewis Larkam forecasts a victory for Lewis Hamilton in Australia, highlighting his outstanding track record in Melbourne and Ferrari's traditional strength at that venue."
Imagine the narrative if he secures a victory in his first race with Ferrari, mirroring the achievement accomplished by Fernando Alonso.
This would fuel the excitement wave.
"Regarding the championship for drivers? Taking a daring stance, my pick is Hamilton…
"This was the step he required to refresh and reenergize his spirit."
"In the previous season, there was a sense that he had disengaged. The timing was peculiar, rendering the circumstances unusual, especially since it was known before the season began that he would be transferring to Ferrari."
As one might anticipate, he was gradually being excluded from meetings.
"Is it the case that George Russell received favored status regarding his car configurations? That remains uncertain."
"Statistically, it was among his least impressive seasons in Formula 1, yet he seized the opportunity to win whenever it presented itself!"
In 2025, the F1 lineup is anticipated to become more competitive as it marks the last year under the existing engine rules.
This implies that all teams will be setting their sights on 2026 and the future, leading us to expect more competitive races this season.
This could potentially be Verstappen's toughest challenge in defending his title, or it could serve as a chance for the Red Bull racer to further demonstrate his exceptional talent.

Roy Nissany Joins DAMS for 2021: A New Chapter in Formula 2 Adventure
Roy Nissany, who serves as a test driver for Williams in Formula 1, has joined DAMS to finalize their roster for the 2021 Formula 2 season.
Nissany will team up with Ferrari junior driver Marcus Armstrong at the French team for his third season in the series. He has previously competed with Campos in 2018 and with Trident in 2020.
During the previous season, Nissany ended up in 19th position in the F2 championship rankings. His highest achievement was securing eighth place in the feature race at Spa-Francorchamps. Additionally, he managed another top-10 finish at the opening race of the season in Austria, where he secured the last available point by finishing in 10th place.
In December, Nissany participated in the F2 post-season testing with the DAMS team, and on Friday, it was officially announced that he would be joining them.
Nissany expressed his excitement about joining the well-regarded DAMS team.
Their track record in Formula 2 is impressive, and they are well-regarded in this arena, so I'm thrilled to become a part of the team.
"We laid a solid foundation with our efforts in last year’s post-season test, and I’m eager to kick off the season in March."
"We are optimistic about competing at the forefront. I think we have an exhilarating path ahead, and I am eager to begin."
In addition to competing in Formula 2, Nissany will maintain his position with the Williams team and is set to take the wheel of their 2021 car during one of the three days of pre-season testing in Bahrain next month, after the official Formula 2 pre-season testing concludes.
"We are thrilled to have Roy join our team for the 2021 season," commented Gregory and Olivier Driot, co-owners of DAMS.
"We previously collaborated with him during the post-season test in Bahrain, which was quite successful, and we were satisfied with the insights he provided."
He really clicked with everyone on the team, particularly those in the engineering department, so it's fantastic to observe that the bond is already established.
It is now our responsibility to equip him with the finest tools to help him reach his full potential.
"We are eagerly anticipating the launch of this new campaign with Roy and are committed to assisting him in achieving the outstanding outcomes he merits."
The 2021 Formula 2 season is scheduled to kick off from March 26 to 28 at the Bahrain Grand Prix, alongside the Formula 1 event.

Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari Future: The Sole Scenario That Could Lead to His Early Departure and Expert Insights on His F1 Tenure
The sole situation in which Lewis Hamilton might exit Ferrari is identified
Our specialists discuss the duration of Lewis Hamilton's career in Formula 1
It has been suggested that there is a single scenario that might lead Lewis Hamilton to prematurely leave Ferrari.
This year, Hamilton's significant switch to Ferrari unites the most accomplished driver and team in F1's history.
It is anticipated that their collaboration will continue for at least the next two years, if not longer.
"Lewis Larkam expressed on the Crash F1 podcast that much of this experience is about realizing the aspiration to drive for Ferrari."
Hamilton has never openly acknowledged his time at Mercedes as a dream come true.
Securing the eighth championship, breaking that dry spell, holds more allure than promises of having the top vehicle by 2026.
"Ferrari has consistently delivered powerful engines, ensuring there are no worries on that front."
"This signifies a new beginning for Hamilton."
"Is it likely that Hamilton will remain with Ferrari for an extended period? Absolutely."
Mercedes has yet to show any sign of overcoming their competitive shortcomings. Furthermore, they were hesitant to offer him an extended contract.
"Ferrari has essentially stated 'we'll provide you with anything you desire!'"
Hamilton would have been aware during his time at Mercedes that the strategy for the future involved integrating Kimi Antonelli into the squad.
"It seems unlikely that he will step down before his current agreement concludes, which is not until the close of 2026 at the earliest."
The singular situation in which he might consider stepping down is by securing the championship and ending his career as an eight-time global champion.
"He's committed for the long term, and, even if things don't turn out favorably, I can't envision him making a significant change only to depart after one or two seasons."
Lewis Hamilton Seeks Affection and Esteem at Ferrari
Connor McDonagh mentioned, “Discussions were had about Hamilton not being proposed for a representative position [with Mercedes]. He sensed a lack of affection and believed his input was overlooked.
All of these elements were significant contributors.
"People anticipate that Mercedes will perform impressively in 2026 due to the introduction of new power units, suggesting that this move is more about realizing a lifelong dream from childhood."
"In addition, the enduring role of an ambassador. Giancarlo Fisichella continues his tenure with Ferrari, having been a driver for the team back in 2009!"
"Hence, Hamilton has the opportunity to remain involved for an indefinite period, including in additional ventures such as fashion."
"He desires to experience affection and esteem."
In the upcoming season, fresh Formula 1 rules aim to equalize competition, setting the stage for all teams to pursue dominance. Within the F1 circles, there's buzz that Mercedes has developed an exceptionally powerful engine.
However, Hamilton has not been successful in securing an unprecedented eighth F1 championship title with Mercedes, following his shortfall at the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
He now has the chance to surpass Michael Schumacher at Ferrari, the squad where the iconic German experienced his golden years.

F2 and F3 Revamp 2022 Format: Reduced Sprint Race Points and Return to Two-Race Weekends
F2 and F3 Announce Adjustments for 2022, Cutting Points for Sprint Races
Both F2 and F3 revealed on Friday that they would shift back to organizing two races each weekend.
Every round in both championships will include practice sessions, qualifying, and two races, with the main races scheduled for Sunday.
In Formula 2, the starting lineup for the sprint race is set based on the results from Friday's qualifying session, with the top 10 positions flipped.
In the sprint race mentioned earlier, the points allocation has been adjusted to 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, with only the top eight finishers earning points.
In Formula 3, the starting lineup is based on the qualifying outcomes, with the twist that the top 12 positions will be flipped.
Points are awarded to the top 10 finishers in F3 sprint races, with the distribution being 10 points for first place, followed by 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3
In the main races, the official Formula 1 points system will still be employed by both championships.
Ultimately, securing pole position will earn a driver two points. Additionally, in each race, the driver who records the fastest lap and finishes within the top 10 will receive an extra point.

Pourchaire ‘Fine’ After Dramatic F2 Start Crash With Fittipaldi in Jeddah; Season Finale Looms Amid Uncertainty
Pourchaire "okay" following F2 start collision with Fittipaldi in Jeddah
The French driver experienced a stall with his ART Grand Prix vehicle at the beginning of the race, leading to a collision with Enzo Fittipaldi from Charouz Racing System.
The race was promptly halted with a red flag as medical personnel helped Pourchaire and Fittipaldi exit their vehicles.
Both drivers were taken to King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital, one by ambulance and the other by helicopter.
"Hello all, I just wanted to let you know that I'm doing well overall!" he posted on social media.
"At this point, I'm unsure if my season has concluded. However, that's not the main concern; the significant issue is that it was a major incident, and Enzo is hurt."
"I hope he recovers as well as he can!"
There has been no official announcement regarding Fittipaldi's current state.
The F2 season wraps up this weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, with Oscar Piastri poised to clinch the championship.
Pourchaire currently holds the fifth position in the drivers’ standings following an impressive debut season. He is anticipated to continue competing in the series after not securing the second racing seat with Alfa Romeo in Formula 1.
