Trackhouse Racing Secures Raul Fernandez for 2025 MotoGP Season with New Two-Year Deal
Trackhouse Racing announces they will retain Raul Fernandez for the 2025 MotoGP season.
Raul Fernandez has secured a place in MotoGP for the upcoming season by signing a fresh contract with Trackhouse Racing.
Following a significant advancement with the Aprilia RS-GP23 motorcycle earlier this season, Fernandez has secured a fresh contract that extends for two years.
Fernandez has had an impressive sophomore season with Aprilia, particularly shining during the sprint race in Barcelona where he was leading comfortably before an unfortunate crash.
Fernandez achieved his first-ever front-row start in MotoGP during the recent event at Sachsenring.
On Monday, Trackhouse hinted at a forthcoming reveal regarding their 2025 roster of riders, sparking widespread speculation and excitement about potential candidates.
However, after a tense day of waiting, they revealed a decision that was anticipated. This choice ensures that Aprilia will have at least one rider familiar with the RS-GP bike for the next season. This comes after the factory Aprilia racing team opted to bring on both Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi from Ducati.

"I am extremely pleased to continue with Trackhouse Racing MotoGP," Fernandez expressed. "This was our main goal; this new endeavor with Justin Marks and Davide Brivio is fantastic, and they have assembled an excellent team."
I'm thrilled to learn about their future plans since they have a definite vision of their goals. For me, staying on the team has been a top priority since the start of the year.
"In conclusion, I will remain here for the next two years, which makes me very happy. However, this also means there is a significant amount of work ahead of us."
"We will receive the complete factory equipment in 2025 and 2026, which is clearly exciting news. At present, we are getting ready to launch a new bike midway through this year, so we need to take advantage of this opportunity to get ready for the upcoming year as well."
"It is crucial for us to remain composed, gather all necessary information about the bike, and determine our course of action for the 2025 season."
Trackhouse Racing MotoGP is an incredible team. I really admire the concepts from this American group and I'm also thrilled about Justin's aspirations.
A newcomer to MotoGP, he aims to introduce something unique to appeal to the American audience, and I am optimistic that we can make a significant impact and help MotoGP expand in that market. Additionally, I am delighted with Davide.
He has secured five championships in MotoGP to date, and I believe he is the ideal person to assist me in achieving my goals. I have immense faith in his skills to build an excellent team, and I am absolutely thrilled.
The next event is scheduled for the first weekend of August at Silverstone, where Fernandez will be equipped with this year's RS-GP bike.
Fernandez mentioned that the 2024 upgraded version of the Aprilia will be arriving at Silverstone soon, and it's something to look forward to.
The initial months of this year have been successful, particularly the most recent four races where we made significant improvements and fully utilized the capabilities of the bike.
"At this point, I believe we are pushing our boundaries, so it's exciting to transition to the new Aprilia now."
"We'll be using the same equipment as the factory riders and Miguel, which will make it intriguing to see how we measure up in the championship, particularly with the Aprilia team."
