A man was taken into custody when a bow and arrow were discovered in his vehicle, which was parked close to the House of Lords.
The Metropolitan Police reported that the individual in question was detained early Wednesday morning, on September 25th, at around 6:15 AM near the Peers parking lot.

He was taken into custody for allegedly carrying a weapon intended to cause harm, violating laws under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act, and tampering with a vehicle.
He was detained under the Mental Health Act and released on bail while investigations continue.

Both the House of Lords and the House of Commons have been on a break since Friday, September 13, due to party conferences, resulting in fewer MPs and peers being present in the parliamentary buildings.
A representative from the Metropolitan Police stated: "At around 6:15 AM on Wednesday, September 25, a man was taken into custody near the Peers car park on charges of carrying a weapon intended to cause harm.
A bow and arrow were discovered inside his vehicle at the scene.
"He was additionally detained for violating the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act and for tampering with a vehicle.
"He was later detained under the Mental Health Act and continues to be under the supervision of healthcare experts."
