Revolution auf Rädern: Citroën enthüllt C4 und C4 X Facelifts sowie neue Innovationen in Paris

Citroën has unveiled the revamped versions of the C4 and C4 X at the Paris Motor Show. In addition to these models, the French automaker has introduced several other exciting new products. The updated Citroën C4 and the new C4 X aim to redefine the standards in the compact car segment. Both vehicles were recently revealed in Paris and will hit the market at the beginning of 2025. The Citroën C4 boasts its most sophisticated and serene design to date, while the C4 X features a Fastback design, promising a spacious interior.

The latest models feature an evolved design from the original concept. Both vehicles share an identical and revamped front section. Additionally, the rear of the new C4 has been redesigned. Inside, brand-specific comfort is delivered through the new Citroën Advanced Comfort seats and a fresh 7-inch instrument display.

A standout feature in the latest lineup is the introduction of the 48-volt hybrid system, available in both the C4 and C4 X models. This system merges a PureTech gasoline engine with an electrified dual-clutch transmission and an electric motor. The 48-volt battery recharges while driving, offering the added benefit of extra torque at low engine speeds.

Under the right circumstances, vehicles operating in urban traffic can perform up to half of their trips using only electric power, which can reduce fuel consumption by nearly 20 percent.

The smoothness of the ride in the latest car models can be attributed to the soft suspension system and the well-insulated body. The suspension has been designed to efficiently smooth out road imperfections, ensuring a tranquil and comfortable journey. Additionally, noise insulation within the cabin has been enhanced, aiming to make engine and road sounds almost imperceptible.

The Citroën C4 and C4 X don't skimp on safety and driver assistance features. Both vehicles come loaded with a suite of cutting-edge systems designed to aid the driver and enhance safety on the road. Key features include lane-keeping assistance, emergency braking support, and an adaptive cruise control. These technologies serve to reduce the likelihood of accidents while improving overall driving comfort.

In addition to the hybrid model, the C4 and C4 X come in various powertrains including gasoline, diesel, and electric options. The electric model, named ë-C4, can travel up to 420 kilometers on a single charge according to the WLTP standard, making it suitable for those looking to reduce their environmental impact. Pricing for these new electrified versions starts at 25,645 euros for the C4 and 26,045 euros for the C4 X.
