Red Bull unveils unique livery for British GP, crafted by fans

This weekend at Silverlystone, Red Bull's cars will feature a one-of-a-kind design created by fans.

Red Bull has revealed a unique livery design exclusive for their Formula 1 vehicles, set to debut at the upcoming British Grand Prix this weekend.

This marks the debut among three unique REBL CUSTMS liveries, created by fans, that Red Bull plans to showcase during the 2024 season. Special edition designs will also be featured in Singapore and Austin races later in the year.

The Silverstone paint job is referred to as "Stallion Red" and was created by Thailand's Chalaj Suvanish. Red Bull states that it drew inspiration from the team's 2015 'Camo Bull', which was showcased during the pre-season trials of that year.

The design will be showcased on the vehicles piloted by Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez during the entire Silverstone event.

"After the positive reception of our personalized fan liveries in the previous year, we're excited to announce that we will be featuring fan-designed liveries on our cars once more for the 2024 season," announced Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull.

"REBL CUSTMS has provided our most dedicated fans with an exceptional platform in the RB20, while The Paddock has transformed their dreams into reality. Our supporters are central to everything we undertake, and it brings me great joy that they are able to participate so significantly in our adventure."

I observed each submission come through, and it's truly astonishing to witness the innovation and artistic flair of The Paddock members manifest in such a vibrant way. As we mark our 20th season in the sport, it serves as a fitting homage to the past years, and I'm eagerly anticipating the sight of the RED Bull taking to the track at Silverstone this weekend.

Suvanish expressed, "Participating in the REBL CUSTMS contest was a dream for me as it presented a unique chance to create a livery for the team I love the most."

"I feel incredibly fortunate to have come out as a winner, and now, the opportunity to witness a race in person feels almost surreal. It’s not just any race; it's an F1 race, and even more thrilling is the chance to see the car I personally designed racing on the track! In my design, I incorporated red to echo the energy and power that the Red Bull logo symbolizes, drawing inspiration from the use of flow-vis paint in aerodynamic evaluations."
