Nigel Farage has stated that ex-U.S. President Donald Trump gained significant insights from analyzing his speeches prior to launching his presidential campaign.
The leader of Reform UK refuted comparisons to America's Trump during an interview on ITV's The Leader Interviews – Tonight, stating, "I believe we are quite distinct, although we share similar views on numerous issues."
He noted, "I believe he has gained a considerable amount from me, though it's a mutual exchange… He spent years observing my addresses in the European Parliament… prior to making his own decision to pursue a political career."

Farage intensifies his stance on Ukraine remarks
In the discussion, Mr. Farage reiterated his assertion that the West "instigated" Vladimir Putin's attack on Ukraine.
When questioned on his strategy for handling the Russian leader, he explained to ITV: "Indeed, we've attempted to curb his power through sanctions, yet it seems all we've achieved is pushing him closer to China.
"He must be made aware of the imminent danger immediately; it's crucial that he understands the seriousness of this threat at once."
"Until recently, the West has been recklessly antagonizing Putin for years."
"The continuous eastward growth of NATO and the EU, I believe, provided Putin with a pretext for conflict. Now, the real concern is determining our next steps. Indeed, I am in favor of providing Ukraine with weapons and assistance, yet it seems to me that the conflict has reached a deadlock."
"The loss of life is truly appalling. There have been no meaningful, serious discussions whatsoever. Even if attempts to negotiate peace and seek resolution are unsuccessful, I believe it is still preferable to engage in those discussions rather than avoiding them."
