Mountain Biking Maestro Fabio Wibmer Wows MotoGP Legend Dani Pedrosa with Astonishing Ride on KTM’s Premier Bike
Mountain biking pro leaves Dani Pedrosa in awe with masterful maneuvering of KTM MotoGP motorcycle
"Dani Pedrosa expresses amazement, declaring, "It was flawless. I'm taken aback," as the cyclist showcases skills on the MotoGP bike.
A skilled mountain biking professional caught the attention of KTM when provided the opportunity to test ride their MotoGP motorcycle.
Austrian trials cyclist Fabio Wibmer has amazed his audience with recordings showcasing his bold stunts and capabilities.
He has garnered a following of 7.8 million subscribers on YouTube, with a particularly awe-inspiring video showcasing Wibmer's incredible feats of jumping over bridges and cars on his bike, amassing 264 million views.
However, his biggest challenge occurred at the Red Bull Ring, where he attended as a guest of the KTM MotoGP squad.
Wibmer boasts a decade of experience in motocross, yet he was required to try out smaller models before he could get his hands on a MotoGP motorcycle.
He was instructed to ride a MiniGP motorcycle, demonstrating through his stoppies and wheelies that his skills surpassed those of the typical individual.
Wibmer initially took on a KTM RC8, followed by a Moto2 motorcycle, to gradually increase both speed and performance.
The following day, Dani Pedrosa came to guide him on how to ride a 2023 KTM MotoGP motorcycle.
"The overly assured Wibber expressed his readiness to race, saying, 'I believe I'm all set to just go and compete.'"
He subsequently remarked, "Man, the energy is wild!"

Pedrosa, who holds the distinction of being the top MotoGP competitor without a title and currently serves as KTM's test rider, was seen riding on the track with Wibmer aboard a KTM Super Duke 1390 R.
Following a single circuit, Pedrosa offered advice regarding the Red Bull Ring.
"Pedrosa promised, "Let me reveal the hidden path to you. Stick to this route, and you'll achieve your fastest lap."
Wibmer completed a lap in 1 minute and 53 seconds on a MotoGP motorcycle, which was about 25 seconds slower than the existing lap record.
"Observing him intently, the performance was flawless. It truly amazed me," Pedrosa remarked.
Wibmer noted, "I recognize that it's a rare opportunity for most to experience riding such a machine."
The truly captivating element lies in how you can navigate the curves and explore the achievable angles.
"Even though I was far from reaching the expert lean angles of a MotoGP professional, in certain areas, it seemed as though I had hit my maximum capacity."
Wibmer likened his everyday profession to MotoGP, stating, "Naturally, when you analyze it closely, the two sports have significant distinctions.
"However, when you draw a basic comparison, elements like equilibrium, maneuverability, grip, and the overall sensation of managing a bicycle with its two wheels and handlebars are significant contributors."
