Lewis Hamilton has dismissed the possibility of clothing label Tommy Hilfiger partnering with him alongside Ferrari as one of their sponsors.
Hamilton is set to depart from Mercedes when the year comes to a close, concluding his 12-year stint with the squad.
The seven-time world champion is set to join forces with Charles Leclerc at Ferrari in 2025, creating a formidable duo.
There's been considerable speculation regarding which Mercedes team members will accompany him to Maranello.
A different point of interest is the role of sponsors.
Hamilton's global fame has drawn several partners and sponsors to Mercedes.
Hamilton shares a tight bond with Tommy Hilfiger, collaborating on several fashion projects together.
It seems that Tommy Hilfiger will not be accompanying Hamilton in his move to Ferrari.
Addressing a group of chosen journalists, including those from Crash.net, during the Spanish Grand Prix, Hamilton provided clarity on the matter regarding sponsors.
"He admitted, "I'm unsure. The specifics of my role with the team are unclear to me. It's been quite a while since I introduced them to the squad.
"Additionally, we're continuing our collaborations with emerging designers this year, with a new project launching this weekend."
"I'm not exactly sure about the agenda of the team, however, it seems like they have their own commitments, which means they likely won't join us at Ferrari."
Before the Spanish Grand Prix, the partnership between Tommy X Mercedes-AMG F1 and Clarence Ruth was unveiled.
Mercedes' team members will don pieces from the line created by Clarence Ruth.
Referring to the matter, Hilfiger expressed: Tommy Hilfiger commented, “Clarence Ruth is an undeniable powerhouse. Observing his evolution has been remarkable ever since our collaboration began with the Tommy Hilfiger New Legacy Challenge in 2022.
"This collection merges the realms of fashion and motorsports, seen through the innovative perspective of Ruth. It features today's iconic pieces, influenced by the future's emerging talents."
