Jack Miller Eyes Pramac Yamaha Move Amid MotoGP Shake-Up: Timing, Experience, and the Road Ahead
Jack Miller emphasized the importance of timing and expressed his support for a switch to Pramac Yamaha, noting, "A regulation shift is on the horizon. Moreover, Yamaha is showing signs of regaining its competitive edge."
It is believed that Jack Miller's wealth of experience makes him a good fit for the new Pramac Yamaha initiative.
Pramac's choice to switch from Ducati to Yamaha for the upcoming season has opened up fresh possibilities in the 2025 MotoGP roster of riders.
Campinoti, the owner of Pramac, has placed Miller, recently ousted from KTM, on a list of three potential riders as he evaluates his choices.
Neil Hodgson from TNT Sports encouraged Miller to seize the opportunity, highlighting that it was a surefire factory bike, completely backed by Yamaha's financial support.
"It appears that the cyclists' wages will be covered. This seems logical."
"Timing plays a critical role. Yamaha finds themselves in a challenging situation yet remain combative, whereas Honda faces an even more difficult predicament with seemingly less guidance."
Sylvain Guintoli stated, "Jack and Miguel Oliveira would make a strong addition to the team."
"Both individuals possess a wealth of experience."
KTM mentioned that Jack's insights from his time at Ducati would make him an excellent selection.
"An upcoming alteration in regulations is anticipated. Meanwhile, signs of regained competitive edge are being observed at Yamaha."
Pedro Acosta's promotion to the KTM factory team, along with the announcement of Maverick Vinales and Enea Bastianini forming the new pairing at Tech3, indicates that Miller's time with the company is coming to an end.
Nonetheless, his contributions have enhanced the bike's competitive edge during his two-year tenure after moving from Ducati.
Nonetheless, Miller has expressed criticism towards KTM's management of his departure.
He stated that he had been assured of his position, but was then informed via a phone call of his dismissal, merely hours before the public announcements of Vinales and Bastianini were made.
"Hodgson remarked, "This isn't the treatment you'd desire for yourself."
You accept individuals as they appear. And if you're informed that you've secured a position…
"Feeling confident about having employment, and then abruptly, he does not."
"What's his next move? That's the burning question. There are openings. Ducatis, Hondas, and Yamahas are up for grabs."
