President Joe Biden has responded to Sir Keir Starmer's recent electoral win, joining other global figures in acknowledging the new prime minister. While most offered their congratulations, one leader declared, "I don't care."
Labour's overwhelming victory was apparent by early Friday morning, and shortly thereafter, Emmanuel Macron and Volodymyr Zelenskyy extended their congratulations via social media.
Later on, the US president also made a similar move, as confirmed by the White House, by calling Sir Keir to offer his congratulations.

President Biden expressed his eagerness to collaborate extensively with him on all crucial matters. Meanwhile, Downing Street revealed that their conversation touched on their steadfast dedication to Ukraine and the enduring UK-US "special relationship."
Mr. Starmer had a conversation with Mr. Zelenskyy, who expressed his congratulations to the Prime Minister on his electoral win and extended his best wishes for success in meeting the expectations of the British populace under the new administration.
In Russia, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov responded quietly to the change in the UK government.
In response to a question about Moscow's view on the outcome, he informed Sky News: "In contrast to the British government, we do not interfere in the domestic affairs of other countries."
Mr. Lavrov expanded his discussion to broader diplomatic issues and remarked, "Are you familiar with the expression about the pudding? You realize it's actually pudding once you taste it, right?"
When asked about Rishi Sunak's assertion during his campaign that the UK would be "weaker" under a Labour government, Mr. Lavrov stated, "I don't care. That's for the British people to decide."

On the same occasion, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded more positively to Starmer's appointment, concluding his tweet with the words, "let's get to it, my friend."
In a message penned in French, President Macron stated, "We will persist with the initiatives started with the United Kingdom to enhance our bilateral cooperation, and to promote peace and security in Europe, as well as advancements in climate change and artificial intelligence."

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni divided her remarks into two separate posts; in one, she congratulated Sir Keir on his achievements, and in another, she commented on Mr. Sunak.
