Nigel Farage has stated that ex-U.S. President Donald Trump gained significant insights by analyzing his speeches prior to launching his presidential campaign.
The head of Reform UK dismissed comparisons to America's Trump during an interview on ITV's The Leader Interviews – Tonight show, stating, "I believe we are quite distinct, although we share similar views on numerous issues."
He noted, "I believe he has gained a significant amount from me, but the learning is mutual… He spent years observing my addresses in the European Parliament… prior to making his decision to enter the race."

In response to whether the ex-president had communicated this to him, Mr. Farage confirmed, "I am aware that this is accurate."
Mr. Farage has a strong rapport with Trump and has consistently commended the ex-U.S. president.
Earlier in the month, prior to his shift to Reform UK, Mr. Farage had expressed intentions to assist Trump in his presidential bid this year.
He has since acknowledged, "Being elected as the MP for Clacton and being there every Friday will make things tougher, though not unfeasible."

Farage intensifies stance on Ukraine remarks
During the discussion, Mr. Farage reiterated his stance that the Western countries "instigated" Vladimir Putin's aggressive actions in Ukraine.
When questioned on his strategy for handling the Russian leader, he explained to ITV: "Indeed, we've attempted to curb his power through sanctions, but this approach seems to have only pushed him closer to China."
"It's crucial that he's made aware of the immediate danger; it's essential that he understands the urgency of the situation."
"Until recently, the West has historically engaged in actions that needlessly antagonized Putin."
"I believe that NATO and the European Union's continual push eastward provided Putin with a pretext for conflict. Now, the real dilemma is figuring out our next steps. While I do endorse providing Ukraine with arms and assistance, it seems to me that the conflict has reached a deadlock."
"The staggering loss of life is truly appalling. There have been absolutely no meaningful discussions aimed at resolving the situation. Even though attempts to negotiate peace might not succeed, I believe it's preferable to engage in those talks rather than avoiding them."
