The leader of Reform UK refuted comparisons to Trump during an interview on ITV's The Leader Interviews – Tonight, stating, "I believe we are quite distinct, although we share similar views on numerous issues."
He noted, "I believe he has gained a significant amount of knowledge from me, and it's a reciprocal relationship. He spent many years observing my addresses in the European Parliament before he made the decision to enter the race."

When questioned about whether the ex-president had informed him of this, Mr. Farage confirmed, saying, "I am aware that it is true."
Mr. Farage maintains a strong connection with Trump and has consistently commended the ex-U.S. president.

Farage reiterates his stance on Ukraine issue
In the discussion, Mr. Farage reiterated his assertion that the West "instigated" Vladimir Putin's attack on Ukraine.
When questioned about his strategy for handling the Russian leader, he informed ITV, "We've attempted to undermine him through sanctions, yet it seems our efforts have merely pushed him closer to China."
"It's crucial that he's made aware of the immediate danger; he must understand the urgency of the situation, as it has reached its limit.
"I believe that historically, until a few years back, the West unnecessarily agitated Putin in foolish ways.
"The continuous eastward growth of NATO and the European Union seemed to provide Putin with a justification for conflict. Now, the real dilemma is figuring out our next steps. Indeed, I am in favor of providing Ukraine with weapons and assistance, although it appears that the war has reached a deadlock."
"I believe the death toll is appalling. Meaningful, substantial discussions have been completely absent, and even though attempts at negotiations for peace might not succeed, I still consider it better to engage in those efforts than to avoid them altogether."
