Nigel Farage has stated that ex-U.S. President Donald Trump gained significant insights from analyzing his speeches prior to launching his presidential campaign.
The head of Reform UK refuted any comparison to Donald Trump during his appearance on ITV's The Leader Interviews – Tonight show, stating, "I believe we are quite distinct, though we share similar views on numerous issues."
He also mentioned: "I believe he has gained a significant amount of knowledge from me, and it's been a reciprocal process… He spent many years observing my addresses in the European Parliament… prior to launching his own political campaign."

In response to whether the ex-president had informed him of this, Mr. Farage confirmed, "I am aware that this is the case."
Mr. Farage has a close relationship with Trump and has consistently commended the ex-U.S. president.
Earlier in the month, before opting to align with Reform UK, Mr. Farage had expressed intentions to assist Trump in his presidential bid this year.
He has acknowledged that being elected as the MP for Clacton and being present every Friday would make things tougher, though not unfeasible.

Farage reiterates his stance on Ukraine issues
During the discussion, Mr. Farage reiterated his stance that Western actions "provoked" Vladimir Putin's military aggression against Ukraine.
When questioned about his strategy for handling the Russian leader, he explained to ITV, "Indeed, we've attempted to undermine him through sanctions, yet it seems our actions have only pushed him closer to China."
"It's crucial that he becomes aware of the imminent danger immediately; he must be informed, as this situation allows for no further delay."
"Up until recent years, the actions of Western nations arguably incited Putin in an unwise manner."
"The continuous eastward growth of both NATO and the European Union seemed to provide Putin with a justification for conflict. Now, the real issue is figuring out our next steps. While I am in favor of providing Ukraine with arms and assistance, I believe the conflict has reached a total deadlock."
"I believe the loss of life is appalling. There have been no meaningful, serious discussions whatsoever, and although attempts to negotiate peace and find a resolution might not succeed, I feel it's still preferable to engage in those discussions rather than avoiding them."
