Fabio Di Giannantonio to Stay with VR46 Ducati for 2025: Future Secured Amid Pramac Yamaha Rumours
Fabio Di Giannantonio announces that a decision regarding his future has been made, confirming he will remain with VR46 Ducati in 2025.
Following speculation about his potential move to Pramac Yamaha, Fabio Di Giannantonio will continue racing with VR46 in the 2025 MotoGP season.
Di Giannantonio pulled out of the German MotoGP in the initial laps because of a technical problem.
However, his future is now clear, with the Italian stating: "The decision has been made, and we will receive the news soon."
Di Giannantonio is talking about the announcement that he will remain with VR46 and ride a full factory GP25 motorcycle next year.
Throughout most of this season, Di Giannantonio has been the second-best GP23 rider, trailing only Marc Marquez. It appears that he will be the only non-factory rider, apart from Francesco Bagnaia and Marquez, to receive a GP25.
Before that, Di Giannantonio still has over half of the season to race with the GP23 bike, and he aims to improve its competitiveness in comparison to the current GP24 model.
Reflecting on his progress this season, Di Giannantonio expressed his satisfaction, stating, "I’m pleased. I believe we are performing excellently in this initial phase of the season and are fully meeting the expectations."
"Last year, I was consistently finishing on the podium and winning races. Naturally, I aimed to maintain that level of performance this year. However, given the bike we have this season, we're pushing it to its limits."
"We are competing for crucial spots, and our goal for the latter half of the season is to close the distance with the GP24 motorcycles."
