Dani Pedrosa Opens Up About Battling Chronic Fatigue Alongside Casey Stoner in MotoGP Career
Dani Pedrosa has disclosed that he battled the same health issue as Casey Stoner, namely chronic fatigue, he has shared.
Throughout his MotoGP career, Dani Pedrosa battled persistent tiredness.
The ailment also affected Casey Stoner, who notably ended his career at a surprisingly young age in 2012.
Pedrosa has now disclosed that he experienced difficulties during the last three years of his professional racing career.
"In my final years competing in MotoGP, I experienced chronic fatigue similar to what Stoner went through," he shared with Motorsport.
"In the final two to three years of my profession, I was grappling with it."
"I extended the situation until it dawned on me that escaping was not an option and that I had to cease rushing things. It required roughly three years to find my way again."
Pedrosa holds the distinction of being the most accomplished competitor never to clinch a MotoGP title.

However, he was unable to secure a championship title, ending up in second place on three occasions.
Throughout his career, Pedrosa was plagued by injuries.
"He explained that they tallied up the duration he was sidelined because of his injuries. They assessed all the races he had to skip as a result and determined that he would have been absent from roughly 17 or 18 Grand Prix, equivalent to an entire season.
Upon my retirement, I encountered severe issues with my collarbone as it had deteriorated significantly.
A portion of it sustained severe damage; the bone was unable to mend naturally.
"The substance failed to become solid and was unable to endure the various pressures applied to it. The resolution took an extended period, but ultimately, with the assistance of some stem cell specialists, I managed to overcome the issue."
At the age of 38, Pedrosa serves as a test rider for KTM.
He already made a notable impact in a wildcard race at Jerez earlier this season, earning the admiration of his competitors with the seasoned pro's skillful display.
