A Tory minister has stated that Labour is on track for "the biggest majority the nation has ever witnessed."
Work and Pensions Secretary Mel Stride seemingly admitted defeat to Labour, suggesting they would secure an unprecedented number of seats, even before the polls opened.
Speaking to Sky News, he said, "Based on the polls, it looks like we're on track for the biggest majority ever witnessed in this country, surpassing even the landslide of 1997."

Mr. Stride commented following statements from prominent Conservative figures such as Rishi Sunak, David Cameron, and Boris Johnson, who have expressed concerns about Labour potentially securing a "supermajority" by winning an extensive number of seats.

Mr. Stride stated that the Conservatives' current task is to ensure that the Labour Party remains accountable.
