"Bastianini described the day as rather complex," he shared.
Initially, I found it challenging: Mornings were tough as I couldn't find my rhythm, and afternoons appeared to follow a similar pattern.
We adjusted our setup, which was beneficial, until I took a spill because my foot became trapped shifting into second gear, accidentally ending up in fourth gear, which caused me to lose control of the front end.
"After the accident occurred, I shifted my focus to the time trial."
"I initiated with the initial tire to gain the proper sensation and subsequently, in the concluding moments, I exerted effort to record a robust lap-time."
"Securing a spot in Q2 was crucial, yet currently, my speed doesn't rank with the top performers."
Bastianini trails the championship frontrunner Jorge Martin by 75 points. Meanwhile, Bagnaia, who is currently second in the standings, finds himself 21 points adrift of Martin.
"Bagnaia expressed that it was an exceptionally good day."
"We began well and I immediately felt more comfortable on the bike."
"This circuit complements how I ride perfectly; our performance was outstanding, and we saw continuous progress throughout the day, particularly in the third sector, which had previously been a bit challenging for me."
"Unfortunately, I went too wide on turn 11 during the last attempt for a fast lap. Securing a good rhythm and ending among the top ten was crucial, so I'm pleased. We have to advance a bit more tomorrow, but we are on the correct path."
