Newey has reduced his involvement in daily tasks at Red Bull, transitioning to focus on the RB17 road vehicle and additional ventures prior to his complete departure.
"When queried by Sky Sports News about his future plans, Newey responded, 'I don’t know.'"
Currently, I'm focusing on developing the RB17 hypercar and also taking a break for a while.
"Just last week, we had the fortunate coincidence of good weather and decided to spend seven days touring the South Coast with our dogs. We traveled in a classic Aston Martin DB6, which made the trip immensely enjoyable."
Inquired about his certainty regarding his plans for 2025 by "fall or winter," Newey responded, "Definitely aiming for that timeframe, by which I should have reached a decision."
Recent reports indicate that Aston Martin has intensified its efforts to acquire Newey's expertise.
During his appearance at the Austrian Grand Prix, Lance Stroll expressed that it would be "truly amazing" if Aston Martin managed to secure Newey.
"He's considered the best there's ever been, holding more titles than anyone else here," he stated. "He's the kind of player every team dreams of having on their roster."
"It's certain that nobody would decline the opportunity to work with Adrian, without a doubt."
