Starting from pole position, Verstappen took control of the sprint race and then secured a third-place finish in the main event.
Although Verstappen had to defend his position from title contender Norris, he still managed to secure a spot on the podium.
Ahead of the weekend, Red Bull rolled out several enhancements, capitalizing on the three-week interval between the Singapore and USA events to thoroughly analyze and comprehend their challenges.
During the most recent episode of the Sky Sports F1 podcast, Kravitz shared his reasons for believing that Verstappen is likely to secure the championship this year.
"The Bulls are back in action," he stated. "They have overcome their challenges and resolved their difficulties. They've progressed, which is why Max is set to be this year's world champion."
Podcast co-host Matt Baker was quick to highlight that Verstappen ended the race 19 seconds behind the victor, Charles Leclerc.
Kravitz responded by saying, "I believe everyone assumed he was just in third place. There seemed to be something in the demeanor of the entire Red Bull team and in Max's behavior as well."
In the way Horner, the head of Red Bull, expressed himself, there was an indication of advancement. During the past three weeks following the Singapore event, it seemed they had discovered something significant.
"While they haven't completely reached their peak, Max is outperforming Lando and gaining an advantage in terms of points. This moment felt pivotal, signaling the end of Red Bull's struggles."
Verstappen is likely feeling assured about increasing his points advantage in the championship during the race in Mexico City.
He has secured victories in Mexico five times before, specifically in the years 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, and 2023
