**Title:** “Brad Binder’s Rolling Burnout and Jack Miller’s Last-Lap Drama Highlight Eventful MotoGP Weekend at Aragon
Brad Binder: "Once again, I ended up doing a rolling burnout!" Jack Miller: "Rins managed to get past me."
Brad Binder: "I thought I had a solid strategy last night to avoid losing traction at the start…"
Brad Binder had his best MotoGP performance since the season began in Qatar, securing 4th and 6th place finishes at the Aragon race.
This occurred even though he veered off course in both events, and despite that, his seventh-place finish was from a relatively better starting position on a less favorable grid.
Binder rode behind newcomer Pedro Acosta during the middle portion of the race. This turned into a fight for third place when Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia collided with 5 laps remaining.
However, Acosta stayed slightly beyond grasp.
"I had a solid strategy last night to avoid spinning out at the start, and I managed to do a rolling burnout just like I did yesterday!" Binder smiled.
"I maneuvered carefully and overtook several competitors. It was challenging to avoid errors since the front tire was overheating while trailing others until the final part of the race."
"I attempted to gain time by accelerating out of the corners since I couldn't go in too quickly due to the front overheating. However, this strategy cost me in the end as the left side of the tire was completely worn out."
“I did everything I could to overtake Pedro, but there was no more traction from the back!”
"Besides that, we made notable progress this weekend. We experimented with the bike's balance, and it appeared to be effective throughout the race."
Jack Miller, a teammate, had a solid start, moving from 15th place on the grid to eighth by the end of the first lap. However, the Australian rider quickly faced difficulties with maintaining rear grip.
After being overtaken by Alex Rins for ninth place on the final lap, he was subsequently penalized with a 16-second post-race tire pressure infraction along with two other riders, resulting in his fall to 15th position.
“It was a lengthy race,” mentioned Miller. “The track conditions were varied once more. It has been mostly dirty throughout the weekend, but today it felt more slippery.”
"I gave it my all. It was tough to manage the medium rear tire, and I had a major highside incident coming out of the final turn."
"I found my pace and focused on maintaining it. There were several challenges when transitioning from the outer edge to the center of the tire, but I managed to finish the race."
"I didn't make any errors during the race, but I found it difficult to keep up with the guys ahead of me. We'll continue to give it our best effort."
"I’m pleased to finish in the top ten, but Rins managed to edge past me on the final lap's back straight. I was trying to be as accurate as possible, but I couldn’t get enough speed, and he overtook me."
"We will return to Misano."
KTM will have a total of five riders this weekend as test rider Pol Espargaro joins as a wild-card entry.
"Next, we head to Misano with an eye on the upcoming test and Pol's wildcard entry, which will be beneficial for our future," stated team manager Francesco Guidotti.
The initial Misano MotoGP event is set to commence with Binder trailing Acosta by three points, who currently stands in fifth place in the world championship rankings.
Miller, who may be formally announced as a Pramac Yamaha rider at the team's home races in Italy, is currently in 15th place and trails Monster Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo by three points.
