Marquez veered off track, while holding onto third place, with just six laps left to go.
Starting from the fourth spot, Bagnaia attempted to pass him.
Marquez's front end appeared to be closely attached to the rear of Bagnaia's Ducati.
The two bicycles became entangled and veered off the path.
For a brief period, Bagnaia found himself trapped under Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood up and motioned towards Marquez, indicating he was fine.
He left with his leathers ripped and scraped on his arm, but perhaps lucky that the injuries weren't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the medical facility for an examination.
Half an hour after their mishap occurred, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling through the paddock, no longer in their racing suits, and appearing to be without injury.
Stewards are conducting an investigation into the incident.
Defending MotoGP champion Bagnaia started Sunday three points behind the current championship frontrunner, Jorge Martin.
Securing second place in Sunday's Aragon MotoGP, Martin has now advanced to the top of the championship standings with a 23-point lead.
Marc Marquez emerged as the victor in the race.
