**”Tardozzi Confirms Di Giannantonio’s GP25 Promotion, Morbidelli to Ride GP24 in 2025 Ducati Reshuffle”**
Tardozzi has announced that Di Giannantonio will get an official bike, while Morbidelli will stay on the GP24 for the next season.
Davide Tardozzi has announced that Fabio Di Giannantonio will be given a factory GP25 Ducati motorcycle for the 2025 MotoGP season.
Though it hasn't been officially announced, Di Giannantonio is expected to remain with VR46 for the upcoming season.
As Pramac switches from Ducati to Yamaha, the Italian manufacturer will reorganize its riders and motorcycles for the 2025 season.
Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez are set to ride official motorcycles for the Lenovo factory team. Meanwhile, Di Giannantonio will be equipped with a GP25 bike as part of the VR46 team.
However, Franco Morbidelli will be using a GP24, as stated by Tardozzi, which means there will be no further updates for the latest Ducati models.
In an interview with Canal+, Tardozzi mentioned: "Di Giannantonio will have an official bike, while Morbidelli will ride a GP24."
Morbidelli, whose contract for 2025 is still up in the air, will be joining VR46 with Di Giannantonio.
This indicates that Fermin Aldeguer is set to replace Marc Marquez and will partner with Alex Marquez on the Gresini Racing team.
On Friday morning, Tardozzi also addressed another topic, sharing his thoughts on the recent 'Race of Champions' event held during World Ducati Week.
The discussion once again centered on Marc Marquez, who admitted on Thursday that he was at fault for his crash with Nicolo Bulega during Ducati's special event.
"Marc is a racer," Tardozzi mentioned to Simon Crafar during the first practice session at Silverstone. "He is a champion and can't stand not being on the podium."
"I prefer not to say much. Sadly, we experienced this incident, but fortunately, Bulega's shoulder isn't too badly injured."
"Initially, it was quite painful, but after talking to him yesterday, it seems he's recovering swiftly. It's just one of those racing accidents; they occur."
"At times, you need to view it as an extraordinary race rather than one focused on accumulating points. However, Marc is a competitor who only considers how to improve his performance."
