Rising Star: Jacob Roulstone Aims for Moto3 Rookie Glory and Australia’s MotoGP Future
Could this be the next MotoGP sensation from Australia?
The new Australian Moto3 rider is considered a promising talent.
Jacob Roulstone has the potential to become a promising MotoGP rider for Australia.
He is attempting to emulate the careers of Mick Doohan, Casey Stoner, Jack Miller, and their peers.
In his debut season in Moto3, he is striving to secure the Rookie of the Year award.
As he spoke to Fox Sports, he mentioned that his goal for the first race was to secure a top 20 finish and possibly earn a couple of points.
"The outlook has shifted somewhat now that we are into the latter part of the season."
"The primary objective is to be named rookie of the year and to secure the championship title."
"Angel Piqueras – I'm right behind him in second place – I've been competing against him since my first race in Spain, so he's a very tough competitor – but that's my primary objective."
"Winning Rookie of the Year and potentially landing a spot for next season would be fantastic."

The teenager, who is 19 and hails from Wollongong, is competing as part of Herve Poncharal’s Red Bull GasGas Tech3 Moto3 squad.
The best he has done this season is finishing in 8th place in both Catalunya and Texas.
Roulstone completed his training in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, the same program that helped Pedro Acosta advance to MotoGP with KTM.
"It has surpassed my expectations," he commented regarding his first season in Moto3.
“It was somewhat disappointing in Germany to experience a significant moment and then lose momentum, as I believe that was my finest race so far.
"Aside from that, all the races have gone very well except for the last one."
"I still have much to learn. As a newcomer, I have significant progress to make, but I believe I'm moving forward with the team in the right way."
"When you're part of an elite team, there's an expectation to deliver results, which naturally brings a certain level of pressure."
"Up to this point, I've been the newcomer, so I can keep learning gradually."
"During the latter part of the season, there's slightly more pressure and higher expectations on me. However, it's not overwhelming – there's no demand for me to clinch victory in every race."
The Australian Grand Prix, held at Phillip Island in October, marks an important achievement for Roulstone.
He holds the 12th position in the overall Moto3 championship standings, while his compatriot Joel Kelso is ranked 10th.
