### Revved Up for Austria: Alex Rins Returns, Quartararo Set to Experiment with New Strategies —
Alex Rins is optimistic about his comeback in Austria, while Quartararo plans to experiment with new strategies. "We are pleased to have Alex back with us. For a rider, being unable to compete in a Grand Prix because of an injury feels like a penalty."
After having to cut short his comeback to MotoGP during Friday's practice at Silverstone, Alex Rins is optimistic about giving it another shot in Austria this weekend.
The Monster Yamaha racer withdrew from the British Grand Prix because of the injuries to his hand and foot that he suffered at Assen in June.
Rins explained that he made this choice due to the pain he was experiencing, the potential for a more serious injury, and the guidance from medical professionals.
The Spanish rider, who will remain with Fabio Quartararo in 2025, has been using the period since the Silverstone event to further his recovery.
Rins expressed his disappointment about not being able to race at Silverstone, but mentioned that it fueled his determination to return even stronger for the Spielberg race.
"I've been alternating between on-bike and off-bike training, and I've consistently consulted with medical professionals during this period. I'm feeling great and can't wait to ride my M1 again."
Yamaha is set to begin a busy period of racing activities in Austria, followed by a private testing session at Misano right after the event at the Red Bull Ring.
The Yamaha and Honda race riders are scheduled to visit Misano four times in the upcoming six weeks, including two race weekends and an official test, starting with this initial test.
The Aragon Grand Prix is scheduled for the end of this month.
"We're entering a hectic phase, which is beneficial for us," Quartararo stated. "Overall, the experience at Silverstone wasn't very positive, so we have some improvements to make. The more laps we can complete, the better it will be for our progress."
"This year, we're sticking to our usual approach: experimenting with new strategies, gathering information, and giving our all in both the Sprint and the Race at Spielberg."
The team's director, Massimo Meregalli, expressed his satisfaction by saying, "To begin with, we're pleased to have Alex return. For a rider, being unable to participate in a Grand Prix because of an injury feels like a penalty."
"With our initial roster back in full, we're excited to dive into our tasks. Our team loves everything about the Spielberg Grand Prix: the setting, the place, and the vibe – it's all fantastic."
"This circuit stands out due to its distinctive stop-and-go design and just eleven turns, making it an intriguing site for data collection."
Since the Red Bull Ring rejoined the MotoGP schedule in 2016, Ducati and KTM are the only manufacturers to have secured victories there.
