Professional mountain biker amazes Dani Pedrosa with impressive performance on KTM MotoGP bike
"Absolutely flawless. I'm amazed," says Dani Pedrosa as the bicycle stunt rider handles the MotoGP motorcycle
A skilled mountain biker caught the attention of KTM when he had the opportunity to ride their MotoGP motorcycle.
Austrian trials cyclist Fabio Wibmer has amazed audiences with his videos showcasing his bold stunts and impressive abilities.
With an impressive following of 7.8 million subscribers on YouTube, one of Wibmer's exhilarating videos, which showcases him jumping off bridges and vaulting over cars on his bike, has garnered 264 million views.
However, his final challenge occurred at the Red Bull Ring while he was visiting as a guest of KTM's MotoGP squad.
Although Wibmer boasts a decade of motocross experience, he still had to practice on smaller bikes before being permitted to ride a MotoGP motorcycle.
He was instructed to ride a MiniGP bike, during which his impressive stoppies and wheelies demonstrated that his skills were above average.
Wibmer gradually increased his speed and power by first riding a KTM RC8 and then moving on to a Moto2 bike.
The following day, Dani Pedrosa showed up to guide him on how to ride a 2023 KTM MotoGP motorcycle.
Wibmer, brimming with confidence, stated, "I feel ready to jump into the race right now."
He later shouted, “Man, the strength is unbelievable!”

Dani Pedrosa, who holds the record for the most MotoGP wins without securing a championship and currently serves as KTM's test rider, was seen on the track with Wibmer, riding a KTM Super Duke 1390 R.
Following a single lap alongside each other, Pedrosa offered some advice regarding the Red Bull Ring.
"I'll reveal the hidden path to you," Pedrosa stated. "Adhering to that path will ensure you achieve your fastest lap time."
Wibmer completed a lap in 1 minute and 53 seconds on a MotoGP motorcycle, which was approximately 25 seconds slower than the lap record.
"I observed him intently, and he executed it flawlessly. I'm amazed," remarked Pedrosa.
Wibmer commented, "I realize that only a small number of people have the opportunity to ride a machine like this."
"The most intriguing part is how you can tilt into the curves and explore the achievable angles."
"Even though I wasn't close to reaching the sharp lean angles of a MotoGP professional, there were moments when it seemed like I was pushing the boundaries."
Wibmer likened his daily work to MotoGP, stating, "Naturally, when you analyze it, the sports are quite distinct.
“However, when you roughly compare them, aspects like balance, control of the bike, handling, and the overall sensation of riding on two wheels with handlebars all contribute.”
