Pedro Acosta Braces for Hectic Second Half of MotoGP 2024 Season Amidst Silverstone Excitement
Pedro Acosta predicts a "busy latter part of the 2024 MotoGP campaign."
Pedro Acosta has emerged as a standout performer in the 2024 MotoGP season, with the British Grand Prix being the next challenge for the impressive newcomer.
After a three-week hiatus during the summer, MotoGP is set to resume this weekend, with Acosta at the forefront of KTM's pursuit for the championship title.
The youthful Spanish rider holds the fifth position, just above Brad Binder, and although he has yet to claim a victory at Silverstone, Acosta is eager to jump back into the fray.
"Thrilled to return to the contest following a brief hiatus," Acosta expressed. "Taking time off to unwind, enjoy family moments, and engage in extensive training has been beneficial."
The latter part of our season is shaping up to be extremely busy, requiring our continuous and diligent effort.
"Silverstone is a track that I'm fond of; the weather conditions can be challenging, but we're eager to see how we navigate them this year during the MotoGP."
"This Grand Prix will stand out from the rest as we commemorate the 75th anniversary of MotoGP, a significant achievement that fills me with pride and joy to witness firsthand. Time to rev up!"
Augusto Fernandez, a colleague of Acosta on the team and currently exploring opportunities beyond MotoGP for 2025, is eager to return to action.
Fernandez expressed his eagerness to return to the races at Silverstone following the summer hiatus. He mentioned that taking time off was beneficial, as it allowed him to enjoy moments with family and friends while also focusing on training at home to prepare for the upcoming hectic schedule.
Silverstone is a circuit I enjoy, and I've achieved impressive outcomes there before.
"Last season went fairly well for us, so I'm eager for a successful weekend and aim to secure a spot in the top 10 to kick off this second phase positively."
