Pecco Bagnaia takes center stage in unveiling Juventus' third kit

The current MotoGP Champion is featured as the ambassador for the Bianconeri's new blue third uniform.

Following the conclusion of international competitions and the Olympics, the club football season is making a comeback. MotoGP World Champion Francesco Bagnaia has teamed up with Juventus to unveil their new third kit.

Bagnaia, who has frequently expressed his admiration for the Italian Champions during his MotoGP career, appeared in Juventus' promotional material for the unveiling of their new blue and gold third kit.

Juventus describes the kit as being inspired by the moon's reflection in the night sky filled with stars. The kit was revealed in the two-week period between the 10th and 11th races of Bagnaia's MotoGP title defense: the British Grand Prix, where he secured third place, and the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix this weekend.

Bagnaia has been linked to football before this year. Earlier, his Ducati Lenovo Team sported the blue jerseys of Italy's national sports teams in anticipation of the Euro 2024 football championship and the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Fabio Di Giannantonio, who shares nationality and a Ducati team with Bagnaia, was recently associated with his beloved football club. He was presented at the start of the Roma vs Napoli Serie A game in December last year. The 'wolf' emblem on Di Giannantonio's helmet is a nod to AS Roma's logo, depicting Romulus and Remus, the legendary founders of Rome, being nursed by the Capitoline Wolf.

In 2021, following his victory at the World Championship, Fabio Quartararo was presented at the Parc des Princes before a PSG match. Similarly, Marc Marquez once rode a Honda RC213V motorcycle around the RB Leipzig stadium ahead of the 2019 German Grand Prix.
