**”MotoGP Aragon Drama: Binder’s Burnout Battle and Miller’s Last-Lap Heartbreak”**
Brad Binder exclaimed, "I did another rolling burnout!"
Jack Miller mentioned, "Rins managed to get past me."
Brad Binder added, "I had a solid strategy last night to avoid spinning at the start…"
Brad Binder had his best MotoGP performance since the start of the season in Qatar, achieving 4th and 6th place finishes at the Aragon race.
Despite veering off the track in both races, he managed to secure seventh place, which was on the more favorable side of the starting grid.
During the middle portion of the race, Binder was trailing rookie Pedro Acosta. This competition for third place emerged after Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia collided with 5 laps remaining.
However, Acosta remained slightly beyond capture.
"I came up with an excellent strategy last night to avoid losing traction at the start," Binder said with a smile. "Just like yesterday, I did a rolling burnout again!"
"I navigated through and overtook several competitors. It was challenging to avoid errors since the front tire was overheating while following others until the final part of the race."
"I attempted to recover time when exiting corners since I couldn't enter them at high speed due to the front tire overheating. However, this strategy backfired, and by the end, the left side of the tire was completely worn out."
"I did everything I could to overtake Pedro, but there was no more power from the back of the car!"
"Besides that, we took several encouraging steps this weekend. We experimented with the bike's balance, and it appeared to be effective throughout the race."
Jack Miller, starting from 15th position, made an impressive start and climbed to eighth place by the end of the first lap. However, the Australian rider soon faced issues with rear tire grip.
After being overtaken by Alex Rins on the final lap and losing ninth place, he was later penalized along with two other riders for tyre pressure violations, which added 16 seconds to his race time and resulted in him finishing in 15th position.
"That was quite a lengthy race," commented Miller. "The track conditions were different once more. It’s been dusty for most of the weekend, but today it felt more slippery."
"I gave it my all. It was challenging to manage the [medium] rear tire, and I experienced a significant highside at the exit of the final turn."
"I found my pace and focused on maintaining it carefully. There were several challenges moving from the outer edge to the center of the tire, but I managed to finish successfully."
"I didn’t make any errors during the race, but I had difficulty keeping up with the guys ahead. We’ll continue to push forward."
"Glad to finish in the top ten, though Rins overtook me on the back straight during the final lap. I was trying to be as accurate as possible, but a poor acceleration allowed him to pass me."
“We’ll return to Misano once more.”
KTM will have a total of five riders this weekend as test rider Pol Espargaro joins as a wild-card entry.
“Next, we head to Misano, where we will also focus on the upcoming test and benefit from Pol’s wildcard entry, which will provide valuable assistance for our future,” stated team manager Francesco Guidotti.
The initial race of the Misano MotoGP series is set to begin with Binder trailing Acosta by three points. Acosta currently occupies the fifth position in the world championship standings.
Miller, who might be officially announced as a Pramac Yamaha rider during the team's home races in Italy, is currently 15th in the standings, trailing Monster Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo by three points.
