At the Aragon Grand Prix, Marc Marquez claimed his first Grand Prix win in more than 1,000 days, achieving it in a commanding manner.
Dominating from start to finish, Marquez showcased outstanding speed and ultimately secured victory, finishing nearly five seconds ahead of Jorge Martin.
Martin increased his lead in the championship to 23 points by finishing second, following Francesco Bagnaia's crash after colliding with Alex Marquez, who also fell during the incident.
Bagnaia made significant progress through the pack after experiencing another instance of his rear tyre slipping due to starting on the less clean side of the grid. He found himself in seventh position at the outset, moved up to sixth following Miguel Oliveira's crash, advanced to fifth as Franco Morbidelli went off track, and then claimed the fourth spot after pressuring Pedro Acosta into an error at the 16th turn.
Several circuits were completed in the pursuit of Marques, who veered off course at turn 12, creating an opportunity for Bagnaia to overtake him entering turn 13. However, during Bagnaia's maneuver into turn 13, he collided with Marquez, resulting in both riders crashing.
Following the race, Bagnaia was taken to the medical facility, however, there has been no news released regarding his current health status.
The collision between the pair elevated Pedro Acosta to a third-place finish, though he was nearly 15 seconds adrift of the leader.
Brad Binder secured a fourth-place finish, while Enea Bastianini climbed up to fifth from a 14th place start. Franco Morbidelli landed in sixth position, followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio, Marco Bezzecchi, Alex Rins, and Jack Miller, who completed the top 10.

After the race, inquiries were initiated concerning Fabio Di Giannantonio, Jack Miller, and Raul Fernandez due to issues related to the pressure of their front tires.
