Marc Marquez has responded to the event that led to Nicolo Bulega's fall during the Ducati Lenovo Race of Champions.
The highlight of the event at the Misano track concluded with Bulega veering off into the gravel during the final turn, just as Marquez passed him.
Bulega found himself making gestures on the track as Marquez secured a spot on the podium, trailing behind victor Francesco Bagnaia and Andrea Iannone.

"Unfortunately, during the final lap, I sensed Bulega's fall," Marquez shared with Sky Italia.
"I'm uncertain whether any interaction occurred, as I haven't received much information."
After the incident, Marquez headed to Bulega's garage to offer an apology and explain the situation, according to Sky Italia.
Motosprint reported Marquez saying, "I plan to present Nicolo with the helmet I wore during the race."
"I'm looking to inquire if there was any interaction, as I didn't notice it."
"I merely caught the noise of the motorbike dragging across the pavement."
"I'm not sure if he applied the brakes more forcefully than normal to tighten the gap."
"However, regardless of circumstances, competitions remain competitions, and this was clearly evident from the beginning, marked by a fair share of turmoil."
"Nicolo was performing well in the race, and I'm hopeful that he's in good physical condition."
Marquez is making his debut appearance at the World Ducati Week this weekend.
It comes as the Gresini racer has been selected for the official team for the upcoming season.
The MotoGP championship continues the following weekend at Silverstone, with Bagnaia leading the championship by 10 points ahead of Jorge Martin, and 56 points ahead of Marquez in the overall standings.
"Marquez acknowledged that Pecco has become the benchmark for both MotoGP and Ducati."
"He's an exceptional cyclist whom I aim to emulate, striving to match his expertise as closely as I can."
"Imagine if I had attempted that same pass on Bagnaia? To me, it felt like a standard move, so I didn't see it as anything wild."
"Today marked a festive occasion, and it's unfortunate that Nicolo had an accident: the presence of competitors on the circuit elevates the adrenaline, making the race authentic."
On Saturday, during the Lenovo Race of Champions, every one of the 15 competitors, who hailed from MotoGP, World Superbikes, and British Superbikes, took their turns on the freshly unveiled Ducati Panigale V4.
"Marquez expressed his delight at experiencing the warmth from everyone at Ducati."
The ethos of the organization emphasizes excelling and constantly advancing forward, which is key to enjoying the work.
Over the weekend, I had my initial experience with the Pirelli tyres. Initially, my pace was slower as I was unfamiliar with both the motorcycle and the tyres. However, as the race progressed, my confidence improved, and my speed increased.
"It's astounding the level of performance this road bike shares with a MotoGP."
