The Aragon MotoGP qualifying concluded with Marc Marquez securing the top spot as the quickest rider, and he subsequently clinched victory in the Saturday sprint race.
Marquez has secured his second pole position of the season, previously achieving this at the Spanish Grand Prix. In this race, he will be flanked on the front row by Pedro Acosta and Francesco Bagnaia.
Jorge Martin took a spill during his initial lap in the second qualifying round but managed to secure the fourth position on the grid with an impressive recovery on his second attempt. He will be accompanied on the second row by Alex Marquez and Franco Morbidelli. Meanwhile, Brad Binder will lead the third row, flanked by Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez.
In the fourth row, we see Johann Zarco alongside the Aprilia team riders, Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales, who are trailing by more than two seconds (with Vinales lagging by over three seconds) from the pole position. Remarkably, Vinales had the slowest time in the entire qualifying round, even falling behind all participants in Q1. However, thanks to his performance in Friday afternoon's practice session, he secured a 12th place start by advancing to Q2.
A notable contender positioned lower in the lineup is Enea Bastianini, the victor of the 2022 Aragon Grand Prix, who finds himself starting 14th following a challenging Q1. During this session, he struggled to keep up with the KTMs, specifically Acosta and Binder, who moved on to Q2.
