Marc Marquez secured the top spot in Aragon MotoGP qualifying and went on to clinch victory in Saturday's sprint race.
This marks Marquez's second pole position of the season, following his success at the Spanish Grand Prix. He will be joined on the front row by Pedro Acosta and Francesco Bagnaia.
Jorge Martin had an accident on his initial lap in Q2 but managed to secure the fourth starting position thanks to a solid second attempt. Alex Marquez and Franco Morbidelli will line up alongside Martin in the second row, while Brad Binder will lead the third row, followed by Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez.
In the fourth row, Johann Zarco lines up alongside factory Aprilia riders Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales. Both Espargaro and Vinales are more than two seconds behind the pole position time, with Vinales trailing by over three seconds. Notably, Vinales posted the slowest time in the entire qualifying session, finishing behind all Q1 participants. Despite this, he will start in 12th place thanks to his performance in Friday afternoon's practice, which allowed him to advance to Q2.
A notable figure further down the lineup is Enea Bastianini, the victor of the 2022 Aragon Grand Prix. Bastianini will commence from the 14th position following a challenging Q1 session where he couldn't keep up with the speed of the KTMs, specifically those ridden by Acosta and Binder, who progressed to Q2.
