Marc Marquez: ‘The bike dictates your actions, not your own preferences’
Marc Marquez: 'Previously, riders like Stoner and Pedrosa would often slide their rear wheels when approaching corners.'
Marc Marquez has detailed the reasons behind the decline in riders sliding sideways while cornering in MotoGP.
The rider who has won the world championship eight times and has moved from Repsol Honda to Gresini Ducati stated that losing control while braking negatively affects the aerodynamics.

"In the past, riders like Stoner and even Pedrosa often entered corners by sliding their rear wheel."
"Not anymore. Why? Because it disrupts the aerodynamics, making things more challenging."
