Marc Marquez has responded to the incident that resulted in Nicolo Bulega crashing during the Ducati Lenovo Race of Champions.
The main event at the Misano track concluded dramatically when Bulega lost control and skidded into the gravel on the final corner, allowing Marquez to pass him.
Bulega expressed his frustration from the ground as Marquez secured a spot on the podium, finishing behind the race winner Francesco Bagnaia and second-place Andrea Iannone.

"It's unfortunate about the last lap; I sensed Bulega's crash," Marquez mentioned to Sky Italia.
"I'm not sure whether there was any communication; I haven't received much information."
According to Sky Italia, Marquez visited Bulega's garage later to offer an apology and explain the situation.
Marquez told Motosprint that he plans to give Nicolo the helmet he wore during the race.
"I'd like to inquire if there was any contact because I didn't notice any."
"I just heard the noise of the motorcycle skidding across the pavement."
"I'm not sure if he applied the brakes harder than normal to block the path."
"Regardless, races are inherently unpredictable, and the beginning was particularly chaotic, which was immediately evident."
"Nicolo was performing well in the race, and I hope he is in good physical condition."
Marquez is making his debut at World Ducati Week this weekend.
This comes as the Gresini rider is chosen for next season's official team.
The MotoGP season will continue next weekend at Silverstone, with Bagnaia leading the standings by 10 points over Jorge Martin and holding a 56-point advantage over Marquez.
Marquez stated that he has no issue admitting that Pecco is currently the benchmark for both MotoGP and Ducati.
"He is an excellent rider, and I will strive to learn from him and match his level as closely as I can."
“What if I had attempted the same pass on Bagnaia? To me, it felt like a straightforward move and not something reckless.
"It was meant to be a celebratory day, but I regret that Nicolo had an accident: when riders are on the track, the adrenaline surges and the competition becomes intense."
On Saturday, during the Lenovo Race of Champions, 15 riders from MotoGP, World Superbikes, and British Superbikes all raced on the new Ducati Panigale V4.
Marquez expressed his pleasure at experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the Ducati community.
The company's ethos is to always strive for excellence and keep moving forward, finding enjoyment in the process.
Over the weekend, I tried out the Pirelli tires for the first time. At the beginning of the race, my pace was a bit sluggish since I was unfamiliar with both the bike and the tires. However, as the race progressed, I became more confident and my speed improved.
"It's amazing how closely the performance of this road bike matches that of a MotoGP motorcycle."
